A great 30W combo with tons of awesome features.

The Egnater Rebel-30 112 MKII 1x12" combo is the next generation of the Rebel 30 with the features you've been asking for. Egnater upped the gain on channel 2 and gave it a more aggressive tone and feel. Channel has even more clean headroom with a lower noise floor. Of course, they kept the unique Egnater features such as the Tube Mix knob, giving you access to an incredible variety of tones from American to British and the silent record mode that actually replaces the speaker with an internal load so all the great power tube character is retained.

Channel 1 delivers rich cleans with controls for volume, treble and bass. Channel 2 dishes out powerful, touch-responsive overdrive with treble, middle and bass EQ, as well as a wide-range gain knob that takes you from growl to scream. Both channels feature Egnater's signature Bright and Tight switches and each channel has its own Watts knob so you can access both low-wattage crunch and serious clean headroom, or any combination between 1 to 30 watts.

Under the hood you will find the new Elite Transformers with substantially greater headroom and industrial grade red FR4 glass epoxy circuit boards with beefed up copper traces to name just a few of the improvements.

The Rebel-30 112 MK II back panel holds more welcome surprises, such as independent Reverb controls for each channel and a tone-preserving series effects loop. The speaker-emulated line out lets you go directly to the board live or in the studio. Set the standby switch to "Silent Record" for great direct-recorded tones that spare both your ears and your neighbors. A dual-function footswitch for channel selection and reverb on/off is included.

Comments about Egnater Rebel-30 Mark II 30W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

Probably one of the most versatile amps I've ever owned. I use the Rebel 30 MkII for recording and small performances, and it excels at both. The design is sturdy and solid, and it features two channels (with a pedal switch), an out put for XLR to to right to your mixing board if you want to use a PA or record right to the source without a mic. The tube mixing is probably my favorite feature- you can get everything from a Marshall stack sound to a Fender Tweed by switching the tube mix. Can't recommend this amp enough- I've owned it for 6 months so far and two of my friends already bought one after playing with it. My only gripe (and it's minor) is the power switch is in the back, making it awkward to turn on at times. Seems like they could have put the power switch up front on the "Standby" switch, and moved the "Recording" switch to the back as that's less used. Other than that, it's truly the perfect amp!

Comments about Egnater Rebel-30 Mark II 30W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I have to tell you first that I had THE FIRST VERSION of this amplifier. It looks quite similar. I never gigged with it, kept it at a bedroom volume. I loved it, and I'm surprised to say, I especially loved the clean channel. I thought it sounded amazing. All of the features worked well: The gain, the tube blend feature, the knob that makes it possible to choose the wattage, the equalization. And here is the disappointment! One day it just stopped working. The transformer died. It was under warranty and I was able to get it fixed for free, but that process took weeks. I had to dig up receipts, make several calls to Egnater, and you can only take it to an "authorized" place to fix it. There were only 2 in NJ, and one was nowhere near where I live. I was pretty disappointed to be so inconvenienced. The amp had been carefully set up in my house and never moved. I sure didn't bang it around taking it to gigs. I really hope this version of the amp is much more reliable, and if the reviews turn out to be favorable I'd recommend it. It sounds GOOD. I have to admit that I did sell it though, when it came back from the shop. I saw that it was going to take a long time to get fixed, so I bought another amp in the meantime. That was a Fender Supersonic 22, which I am also very satisfied with.
