Comments about Engl Ritchie Blackmore Signature 100W Guitar Amp Head:
Well, where to start with this amplifier... I've owned it for over a month now and can safely say there is not a better amp I have ever played through. Initially I was a little disappointed, finding a Marshall 1960A cab to be incredibly bright sounding with this head, however after picking up an Orange 2x12 the sounds produced are better than what I've been hearing in my head for years. The features are terrific, although my only complaint is the absence of a volume control for the clean channel, as it is a lot louder than the remaining three. The clean is however, astounding. In recordings, its crunch mode made me completely overlook my '59 Bassman. And then of course the lead is unbelievable, running the gain at 12 o'clock is more than enough, particularly when you can get the power section really working. That's when this amp kicks in with a vengeance, with every control at around noon. The mids are brilliant, and this amp will always cut through as long as you keep them above noon. The contour boost combined with the second master volume makes for the most articulate, warm and clear lead tone, and also makes any classic rock crunch tone stand out. I can't say enough about this one, it's changed the way I value all other amplifiers. It's sticking with me for life. Don't even hesitate to buy, for the price you get enough value to last your entire playing career. The additional purchase of a Z-5 footswitch will fully expose this amp. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the inability to bypass the effects loop, but who needs to when the amp sounds as great as it does! Enjoy.
Comments about Engl Ritchie Blackmore Signature 100W Guitar Amp Head:
I play MANY different kinds of music, namely Blues, Post Hardcore, Metalcore, Deathcore, and just about everything that sounds interesting to me, so this amp had to have it all.And man, it delivered like nothing else! It's cleans are really brilliant and shimmering with the right settings, and if you crank it on the clean channel, you get a nice breakup that is suitable for a nice barely distorted blues tone. Its Mid Gain sounds are suitable for everything from some Texas style Blues rock to "pop punk"And the High Gain sounds are PERFECT for everything from A Day To Remember to Emmure to Cannibal Corpse. It's an astounding amp for an unbeatable price. Solid Amp, Solid Tone, nothing more I could ask for.

So we had: Engl Invader 100, Powerball II, Richie Blackmore, Fireball, Diamond Spec Op, Bogner Shiva, Orange Rockerverb 30, Rocker 30, Mashall JCM 900. This head, was the absolute win for high gain rock/metal. The Powerball was big/beefy, but had much less clarity. The JCM900 is very similar, but this had the low end girth that the JCM starts to lose when you really crank it. Best sounding head I've used with this band.

This is hands down the best amp I've ever owned. I play Blackened Death Metal - if you want to hear this amp look up my band Despair of the Ancients on facebook or myspace - all our recordings use the Blackmore and the tone is amazing! The High Gain is unbeatable, the clean channel is unbeatable, the crunch and inbetween sounds are amazing as well. Just plug straight into this beautiful tone machine and you will not be dissapointed.

I bought a Blackmore about a year and a half ago, and I have to say...WOW! I NEVER have to use any pedals or effects. This amp is amazing. I play Prog/Deathmetal/core. And this amp has so much tone, so much power. If you are worried about distortion, DON'T BE. It's clean channel is fantastic as well. Everything about this amp is so cool. If you don't have the cash for one at the moment, I suggest saving for one. Because it is completely worth it.

I got this month almost a month ago. I spent a month just listening to soundclips and videos, because I couldn't try this amp out locally. After selling my 6505+, I decided to get this amp.I made a great decision. Sparkly cleans, nice, responsive crunch channel, and the over-the-top distortion is just perfect for metal. Roll down the gain a bit, and you get into the JCM area. Overall, I would recommend this amp if you play a little of everything, and have always wanted great tone.

Sounds awesome. I looked for many Blackmore Clips and videos, to be sure I really wanted this amp.. My Blackmore arrived last Monday, and I'm very happy with it. Bought a Marshall 1960BV w/V30's and thru my ESP's the sound if phenomenal. I mainly play metal, but I needed an amp capable of handling good cleans, and crunch. I sold my 6505+ to get the Blackmore and I don't regret it. The only bad thing is that it doesn't come with a footswitch. Great amp, capable of doing sparkly cleans, to insane gain.
