Crankin' 50-watt stack delivers sublime tone at an amazing price!
So Cal 50-Watt guitar amplifier head:
The So Cal 50 offers sublime tone with a flexible EQ and superb definition from a solid-state rectifier. It's also a very quiet amp thanks to DC-powered filaments. The unique EQ lets you choose between independent treble and bass vs. treble that rolls off the bass when boosted and vice-versa. Presence control lets you sharpen up the sound while 25W (triode) option lets you drive the power section hard without driving the neighbors nuts. Contour knob presents dramatic tonal options and the tube-driven reverb is silky smooth and natural. Multiple speaker outs for great flexibility onstage
Winner of a Guitar World Gold Award for overall value!
So Cal 412SL 4x12" Speaker Cabinet:

i just recently got this amp and it really surprised me. it has decent amount of lead distortion and the tone that you get from playing different guitars on it is simply amazing. my american strat just sounds super bluesy and awesome on the clean channel, while my epi hollow-body has a 1960's fuzz to it. and it comes with electro harmonix el34s!! a good amp for the price
All tube amp at a super low low price,is this a dream ,sounds as good as it looks. Finally found the TONE I was looking for.
I'm 52yrs old, playing since high school, love classic rock and classic tube amps. I just got this amp two weeks ago. For the money, it can't be beat and the cabinet is awesome. Every one of my guitars is transparent in tone, uncolored and sounds exactly like it is supposed to. I love this amp. the reason it's a no-brainer is that for the price of the head, a snarling cabinet is thrown in and no shipping to boot. Don't be stupid, buy this amp!!! Look elsewhere for whistles and bells....but that's exactly what I like about this amp.
The So-cal 50H is a great amp, It has nice cleans, and the distortion is killer, you can get anything for a bluesy light distortion, to a fuzzy punk tone, or a Thrash metal type of distortion. The amp isn't to heavy, (the head is heavier then the cab)... It can get loud, and it has a cool 50 W and 25 W selections, so you can practice without making the neighbors mad... The only downside to the amp is the tone selectors (Bass, Mid, Treble) are for both the clean and distortion channel, but that isn't a big deal...If you?re looking for a Stack under $1000... This is for you.
