OVERVIEW

(Open Box) Amazing vintage Fender tube tone in a modern, hand-wired package.

An updated version of the venerable tweed Pro that powered the inception and growth of rock ‘n’ roll, the hand-wired ’57 Custom Pro-Amp replicates this classic tone with style. This Sonically flexible amplifier is built around a vintage all-tube circuit that offers increased headroom, allowing you to generate the crisp, crystal-clear clean tones that Fender aficionados know and love at higher volumes.

The original 5E5A circuit that powers the ’57 Custom Pro-Amp is a Holy Grail circuit renowned for its tonal flexibility. The addition of a presence control adds adjustable upper harmonic overdrive to dial in just the right amount of ’sizzle’ to your sound, making it come alive with depth and clarity. The interactive bass and treble controls grant this powerful amplifier even more sonic suppleness, allowing players to unleash their personal tone. The hand-wired circuit includes newly sourced yellow coupling capacitors chosen for authentic vintage Fender tone—sparkly cleans and creamy overdrive with smooth top end and round mids. A single 15-in. 8-ohm Eminence Legend speaker—powered by 28 watts of pure Fender tube tone—cranks out plenty of vintage tone with robust low end and vibrant highs with medium breakup when pushed.

The ’57 Custom Pro Amp also sports the legendary warm, golden look of vintage tweed along with classic chickenhead control knobs, top-mounted controls, leather handle and dual 1/4-in. input jacks to accommodate both low and high output instruments. When you plug into the ’57 Custom Pro-Amp, you’re plugging into a piece of history—the veritable soul of rock ‘n’ roll. Includes a protective cover.

Comments about Fender '57 Custom Pro-Amp 26W 1x15 Tube Guitar Amp:

I predominantly play a telecaster and this amp just sings with it. I tried my gibson es 350 with it and the hum buckers love this amp. I unplugged my pedal board as this amp needs no pedals (although they worked well with it). The natural tweed sound with my tele is PERFECT!
Fender nailed it with this amp.

Comments about Fender '57 Custom Pro-Amp 26W 1x15 Tube Guitar Amp:

I bought one of these locally, after playing it with a few different guitars. In the shop, it had a great sparkling, rich tweed tone, with nice depth from the big bottles and big speaker. The medium size tweeds - Pro 1x15, Super 2x10, and Bandmaster 3x10 - are under-appreciated sweet spots in the tweed universe. They offer higher headroom and stouter tone than the Deluxe and smaller models, and they hang together better when they do break up rather than imploding. They grind out more and aren't as crazy loud as a Bassman or Twin. When I got mine home, I was shocked at how hard it rocks when cranked up. It grinds out more than my boutique plexi clone does. With my Strat single coils, I got way closer than expected to early VH brown sound and "Cold Hearted" by Gary Moore. Amazing fiery overdriven tone, and gorgeous rich tweed cleans, all with the sweep of the volume knob on my guitar! This is one of the best amps I've ever played. I only later found out that one of my personal benchmarks for awesome "plexi" tone, the first Montrose album with Rock Candy, was actually recorded with a tweed Bandmaster.

Perfect tweed amp for small/medium venues. The perfect amp for my telecaster!
Great build, solid, ready to go out of the box. The 25" speaker sounds broken in and ready to go!
