A solid cab with a bright sound

Makes an excellent cab for pop and rock. Has an extremely bright sound. Covers the highs well. It is weak in the higher mids. You'll need a simple EQ to bring those out. Punchy lows. The 10's run out of room below 100-80Hz or so. If you drive it hard, expect the top left 10 to crack first, then the bottom left. It's the way they are wired (I know this cause I've already blown one 10). The cab can be rewired fairly easily. I have mine wired in at 2-ohms. I use a Firebass 700 to power the cab and 2 15's.

No need to spend over $250!

By Nik Josef

from Kansas City

Completely researched the 410 cabinets from about 6 manufacturers (up to a limit of $500) and ended up at Musicians Friend in Kansas City and was helped to a personal review of many of these cabs. The Fender 410 intrigued me because it was about $150 less than any other cab in the range I wanted. I plugged it in at the store, attached the SWR head (which is closest to my Yorkville XC400H) and annoyed the entire store. (and note this is a BIG store). The sound was good enuf for me to bring it home and give it the real test on my Yorkie head and my ESP F104 bass. Needless to say, the cabinet is without question the best kept secret in the 410 bass cab market. Tons of low end for a 410, tweeter DIAL (no little switch here) and mids and highs that really make this a clear, ballsy rig. Next purchase.... a second one for a complete 600W, 4OHM stack. Buy this cab.

Sweetness

By crazytom

from Olney, IL

It sounds sweet no matter where I'm playing at on my fretboard. I can play on my B-string and it hits extremely hard and doesn't distort. I can go up to the 24th fret on my G-string and it's crisp and sounds like a bell. I can make it sound like a piano if I want to. It's just a sweet cab!
