No more internet purchases of important items
This review is not about just the footswitch but the entire order from beginning to end being a complete mess. First I ordered a Fender Hotrod Deville Gen 111 amp that was " gently used, like new". This amp did not work at all and probably never has. I returned it and ordered a new Hotrod Deville Gen 111. The new amp arrived with no footswitch, only the empty bag the switch should have been in. MF said they would send new switch, took 2 weeks. What they sent was a Gen 11 switch. Same switch but old style. I paid for a new Gen 111, I expect all Gen 111 parts. I'm a working musician and can't have these types of delays. I really knew better than buy guitars or amps unseen and through the internet. Never again.

product was on back order when i ordered it but came in on the expected date and was sent promtley....no prob. very good service..i have bought alot of things from mf and have never had a prob.
i bought a hot rod deluxe python amp used and it had the cover but not the foot switch with it,so i bought this switch and it is exactly what i needed to complete my package.very nice

Great amp but the switch is made so cheap! Ten years... not a problem with the amp (250 gigs plus practice once a week) I'm about to buy my forth switch and I waited WAY too long this last time because I'm mad I gotta shell out another forty beans... again!! Somebody ought to make a decent alternative... I'd pay for 1 that lasts

I bought the Fender DeVille about three years ago and one day the switch just stopped working. So now I'm gonna buy a new one because I can't find another channel switcher that changes both the channel and the drive/more drive functions. Oh well, here's to another three years...

I play alot with the band I'm in Southern Thunder and sit in with other musicians when time allows. To insure I get the effects I need I've gone back to my pedals. This thing got to cutting in and out switching on it's on and fadeing. I keep my amp close by so I can turn and change channels when needed. I also now run 2 distotion pedals one set slightly and another set higher. I also put an overdrive to fatten up the sound. Fender can do better with these pedals and should replace them.

After a ton of gigs on a two year amp, The switches fell apart, the switches stopped working, the lights went out and the connection fell apart. It's a great switch for features, but plasitc holds it all together.
