I see the other reviews and thought the same thing that this sounds horrible but when i went to utility it has six selections or so like pa or combo amp when you choose the correct one that your using it for this thing can produde killer sounds i've playing for 26yrs and have tried everything and i love this thing and it sounds great to me. I play all kinds of rock& roll and this easily covers it all.My band mates demand I have great guitar tone I hook it strait to the pa and all I see is smiles and friends not believing I'm not using a amp, best unit I have owened. Also I waited 6 months before writing a review to make sure i knew the product before bashing it. I don't work for fender but they sure are producing a lot of great stuff. Thank you fender and MF for supplying great gear at a great price.

I bought a Fender Mustang Floor in July 2012 and I really wanted it to be my main floor unit but even though its built like a tank (well constructed metal housing), it lacks in the sound quality department. Of course, all the Fender amplifiers sound amazing but their idea of any Marshall or Boogie amplifier is seriously under-represented. Their JCM 800 model sounds the worst of any on the market and that's a staple amplifier many players rely on. They almost got it right with their AMERICAN 90's amp model, but the low end isn't very tight at all, even with the SAG and BIAS tweeked to internet-posters specifications ... that I had to send the unit back. If you are a Fender amplifier player, you will love this modeler! If you're into modern rock and want a high gain modeler, avoid this unit because it will severely disappoint you.

Comments about Fender Mustang Floor Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:
Love the sound of the pedal and ease of use. However, on the first one I recieved the 0/5 button did not work. Returned it. On the second pedal, the expression pedal doesn't quite go down far enough to toggle the swtch under it from volume to expression. That might be adjustable but I have yet for anyone to tell me how to either raise the switch or adjust the pedal. Bottom line, the pedal is the least complicated and best sounding multi-effects pedal that I've ever tried using.

Comments about Fender Mustang Floor Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:
I'm very pleased and surprised by the tones I'm able to coax out of the unit itself. I am however very displeased with Feder's fuse software. If you can get it to work it brings out another dimension to the mustang line. the problem is you never know if it will work with your' computers os or your mustangs firmware. It appears as tho Fender's own technicians don't know exactly whats going on from the numerous threads on the fender forums addressing the problems. Which by the way is the only support I've found, 1 fender tech trying to address all the different forum threads.
The amp itself is very worth getting, and if the fuse software works view it as a bonus.

Comments about Fender Mustang Floor Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:
Performs better on small gig & Practice, has rich tones compared to others, true plug & play!
If there's something that may include in the next firmware upgrade would be more stomp/rack effects (e.g. Sustainer, Looper, Feedback Booster etc).
A Very Happy Owner here!

Comments about Fender Mustang Floor Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:
Followed instructions in advanced manual. Still did sound good through mixer. Did not like the settings - presets. Presets were not organized for my use didn't want to spend alot time trying to make it what I needed. Just was not for me.

Comments about Fender Mustang Floor Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:
I already have the Mustang 3 which is my main practice amp and for taking with me when I travel. But, I also have a couple of Bogner Alchemists and a Randal Half Stack. I'm more of an old school type player so my favorite setting on my Mustang 3 is the "60's Sparkle" setting which wasn't included in the Mustang Floor. However, I just logged in with the included Fender Fuse software and in 2 minutes or less I had downloaded the 60's Sparkle setting and had it saved into my Mustang Floor unit.
Now the reason I wanted the Mustang Floor was because I wanted to get that 60's Sparkle sound on my good tube amps. So now with the mustang floor I can play in stereo with my bogners and have the 60's Sparkle setting that I wanted.
I have also been experimenting with a bogner on the left and my randall half stack on the right in stereo. My favorite sound so far is by playing a bogner combo on the left and then a bogner on the right patched into the randall 4x12 cabinet. It honestly is the best sound I have ever played through. Clean with just the right amount of breakup and a big fat bottom end - in stereo no less!
Now You have to do some tweaking because there's now way it's gonna sound perfect without going in there and editing some stuff. For example, the 60's Sparkle setting that I am takling about had too much reverb in it and a little too much compression but that was an easy fix. The Mustang Floor unit itself has lots of parameters you can tweak and when you hook it up to the Fender Fuse software you have a serious set of in depth editing tools. And, it's laid out so easily and in a logical user friendly graphical layout that any dummy can figure it out.
So, to wrap it up, the construction seems to be rugged enough, it has just about every Fender Amp model over the past 60 years built into it, you can go out to amps or PA's, it has all the effects you could want such as reverbs, delays, flangers, vibratones, tremelos, etc., and you can edit and tweak the settings. And, you can go online and download literally hundreds of other tones from the Fender Fuse Community. I'm not a fender employee. I'm just expaining your options on this fantastic piece of equipment. I have been playing guitar for 25 years and you kids out there really have no clue how good you've got it these days with this kind of technology. Take yout time to learn how to edit this thing and you couldn't ask for anything better.

Comments about Fender Mustang Floor Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:
I called a friend who is a professional musician to see what he would recommend in the way of guitar amps. He stated most of the musicians in his area were using the Mustang series amps as they replicate the old Fender tube amps very well. As I am primarily a bass player, he thought the Mustang Floor would be a good fit. He was right! This is my first effects pedal and what a start! I can't believe the tones coming out of this unit. Well worth the money. It is so much fun I find myself practicing most of the day. One shortfall though, the firmware update was unsuccessful using my Mac and the unit froze in update mode. There is a connectivity problem in the Fender Fuse software. A fix for the Mac from Fender Tech Support was unsuccessful also. My PC had no problem with the firmware update but did have a problem with it's Fender Fuse display. My advise? Just plug it in and play! Save the firmware update for a later date. Incredible value for the money.

Comments about Fender Mustang Floor Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:
I was a little leary of this, as I had read some bad reviews. I already had the MustangIII and was quite happy with the amp. So I took a chance.
This is a good product. Very versatile, very tweakable. The people who complained maybe didnt have it set right? ..... If you go into functions you can set this for playing through a combo amp, a stack, or a PA. It sounds really good through a combo, and a stack, and it sounds GREAT in stereo through a PA. Fenders have always seemed to me to be a little noisy. (buzz wise) This is very clean.
You can set it dirty, but otherwise, its quite quiet. I have seen better pedals, but I am very happy with this. The effects could be much more pronounced, but I am still learning how to adjust them. I like how I can simulate all the different Fender Amps. (Always loved the Twin)

Comments about Fender Mustang Floor Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:
This is the best multi FX unit for the money on the market today. Plenty of tweakability and tone shaping. It has some of the best factory tones I've ever heard. You have to set it for what you're playing thru, Amp, PA, etc. That may be the problem with the reviews that said the tone was weak. I've been playing over 40 years...It's not weak... You have to pay $200.00 more for the same functionality with Boss, Line6 etc. If you can't find your precious "hi Gain" sound, buy a Digitech...

Comments about Fender Mustang Floor Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:
Just bought this unit and I am having a blast discovering what it can do. So far, I think it will be enough fun just to experiment with to justify getting it. In fact, the Champ amp models,(which I love) are worth every penny, considering the cost of those little amps. If I have a complaint, it's that Fender took too much effort putting "metal" presets in that most of that crew will not like anyway.
