Totally AMAZING AMP!!!!!

| Review By: Lincoln Cassis | 1 week, 2 days ago

Features:

I being playing guitar for almost 11 years so I'm not exactly a beginner. The futures of this AMP are amazing, 24 pre-set FX PLUS the ability to Morph the 24 pre-sets giving you the possibility of over 50 FX. It has a built in USB module which allows you to plug the amp and Record straight to the Computer using the included software called Ableton Live 8 and Fender Fuse. Tottally Amazing.

Quality:

The quality of the Fender Mustang is by far one of the best I have owned. The Mustang 1 Comes standard with an 8 "inch" speaker and 20 watts, If that is not enough for you but still want the Mustang futures? Fear not there is also a Mustang 2 and 3 which include more watts for more power and louder sound.

  • The over all sound quality is Great 9/10.
  • The Built in USB, Amazing 10/10.
  • The Built in Sound Effects 9/10.
  • The included software 10/10.
  • All for the Low price you can't beat it.

This AMP is far superior than the Fender Frontman R25 not because all the extra futures that the R25 doesn't have but simply on the Sound Quality alone.

Value:

Best Value... I can't stress it enough, Great Quality, Great Sound, Great Software. This AMP feels like it is worth 200+$'s

Overall:

It is a MUST Buy all the way from Beginners to the Professional. I guarantee you Will not regret buying this little AMP. It sounds Great with my LTD-M300.

Unbelievable options

Features:

This little amp (Mustang I) has the volume of something much bigger. The only downside is installing all of the necassary downloads. The Fuse program itself isn't too bad, but it also comes with Ableton Live Eight software. This is something of a recording software like Pro Tools or Garage Band and is much more in depth. I recommend not installing it and just stick with the Fuse. Once enabled, this amp really comes alive. You have your choices of several Fender models, Vox models, Mesa Boogie, Marshall and several others. This is what they are based upon and you can tell by what the amp looks like once dialed in. You do have to spend a little time getting to know it, but once that aspect has been done you'll know this software inside and out relatively quickly. Plus you have the Fender Online Fuse Community to upload or download presets, and help wth any installation questions.

Quality:

The sounds YOU create are anything you want them to be. The presets are ok for simply plugging in and playing. It's a rugged little amp, very light weight with a conveinent carrying handle that can be pushed down and be somewhat flattened. Good quality construction.

Value:

For the price this thing just cannot be beat. I know that tube purists will probably not like this thing, that is until they play it and hear the amazing tones and sounds that the Mustang I can create and/or recreate. This I know from first hand knowledge.

Overall:

This is a very worthwhile investment for the price for the serious musician to the weekend novice. I've been playing it almost nonstop for a month now and haven't scratched the surface of available tones. For this price bucks it simply cannot be beat.

Great Amp

| Review By: Tim Schweizer | 1 month, 2 weeks ago

Features:

As long as you use the Fender Fuse software, this amp will be a great practice amp for you. It is very light (lighter than a Roland Cube 20XL). Hooks up easily to computer using a USB cable for deep editing with the Fender Fuse software.

Quality:
Value:

This is a no brainer. Super amp for the money. You're getting an amp plus superb modeling (if you use the Fender Fuse software).

Overall:

Out of the box, the amp won't sound good. You must use the Fender Fuse software to do "deep editing." Then you can get any sound you want. You won't find a better practice amp for the money (but you must use the Fender Fuse software). If all you want is a basic practice amp, a Roland Cube 20XL has great sounds and is plenty loud. If all you want is modeling, a POD 2.0 will work. You can dial in the POD settings more quickly. If you plan to deep edit the POD 2.0 using a computer, however, then you might find this amp a better deal; the deep editing for the Fender Mustang using the Fender Fuse software is awesome. The interface is better than the Line 6 Edit software for the POD, and the choice of both pre-amp stomp box and post amp rack effects (as well as amps and cabinets) is impressive on the Mustang I 20W.

MUSTANG!!!!

| Review By: Thomas O | 3 months, 2 days ago

Features:

I bought this amp in the beginning on 2012 since I had the urge to upgrade from my small amp. This thing does the trick! Right out of the box I almost felt ripped off cause the distorted presets on the factory channels were mad bad. They sounded very digital and bassy, especially the Metal 2000 and American 90's Presets. I figured to try out the Fender FUSE software. I did and oh boy am I glad. This unleashed this amp's Beastness. Took me a little while to figure how to get optimal quality of sound. But once I did I changed my channels into presets i would use and they sound very authentic and not digital like factory settings sounded. Now my Distortions and Overdrives sound GREAT! Clean presets are quite amazing sound like the real deal amp they are modeled after. For 20W this is extremely louder than I expected. I never go above 5 on the master, and 5 is pretty darn loud to jam inside your house! I have yet to crank it up to 9 or 10 and hear the amp for myself. I play blues and all types of Rock! SUPERB Amp for Blues, Classics, Soft Rock, Hard Rock. A super Great BUY!

Quality:

Everything is great! Quality is a very solid build. The material and design is almost like Carbon Fiber, which gives it a smexy look!

Value:

The Price Tag speaks for itself! Are you kidding me? Does it seem like I'm joking? ORDER THIS THING TODAY!

Overall:

Great Amp, for the money you will be left satisfied to the point that you think this should cost much more than it does. Go out to a music store or order this online TODAY!

Really good

| Review By: Ryan Forsberg | 3 months, 5 days ago

Features:

The features on this amp are very cool but a little complicated but just take some time to learn.

Quality:

The sound is great even when it gets loud, I really do not recommend leaving it on full blast unless you want to deal with ringing ears for about a week.

Value:

I would have still bought this amp if the price was double what they were asking for, it is entirelly worth the money.

Overall:

If I was to say one thing bad about this amp I would really have to think for a whil because I don't see any flaws in this amp. It's great!!!
