Comments about Fender Mustang Mini 7W 1x6.5 Battery-Powered Guitar Combo Amp:
I thought this would be cute for portable use at the office, camping and picnics at the park. But it buzzes, farts and rattles so much that it overpowers the sound. It makes my wife laugh, so I do it just to make her laugh. The speaker can't produce even the limited lows you would normally expect from an amp this small, and the highs are like ice picks in your ear. It causes ear fatigue after 5 or 10 minutes. There was one occasion while on new batteries that the program number changed on its own.
I have to say that I've been disappointed with every Fender amp I've purchased in the last 15 years due to quality issues, most of which are buzzing and cabinet rattles that just cannot be isolated no matter how many time I've tried to take them apart and locate the source. With the Super Champ X2 I recently bought, I had to re-glue the inside perimeter of the speaker paper to the speaker frame to stop the paper from buzzing against the metal, then I had to add my own screws to fasten the baffle to the chassis to keep that from vibrating. A brand new and very expensive 65 Princeton Reissue was junk right out of the box due to incurable buzzing. I've had many more similar experiences with the Hot Rod combos and other amps.
Fender; I love your guitars, but I'm not buying anymore of your junk amps. I'm returning the Mustang to buy another brand of amp.

Comments about Fender Mustang Mini 7W 1x6.5 Battery-Powered Guitar Combo Amp:
Great little portable amplifier... I hadn't used C batteries in a device in forever and it looks like they could've fit D's in them, but that's no biggie. Great sound for such a small amp. I look forward to when I can afford it's bigger brothers in the Mustang series. I own the Mustang II and got My Girlfriend the Mustand I for her Anniversary gift along with a Strat. Great products from a great brand. I personally use a BC Rich ASM Pro and Standard.

Comments about Fender Mustang Mini 7W 1x6.5 Battery-Powered Guitar Combo Amp:
Wow..cannot stop playing this amp!I bought it used from Musicians Friend(like New),great price.
I have played and own way to many amps and guitars
besides the other gear that come with this obsession.
It seem to be well built, easy to use, good looking little amp...and sounds incredible...the first night I had it I must have played it for 4 hours.
And then when I installed the Fender Fuse program..again Wow!!! More Fun!!
This is a great amp for all levels of players and the cost with the Fender Fuse program is Awsome!
I cannot see anybody not finding your sound on this amp...get to know this mini amp and it will have you smiling.
The battery power and size make it the on the go amp,I will be driving my wife crazy now in all the rooms,in the car,at a pinic...you name it.
Remember its not a stack or vintage tube amp but
it does sound GREAT!! this amp makes me want to keep playing.
I have been a Fender Fan all my life and its no wonder to the product that this company puts out.
I played a Squire Classic Vibe 50s Strat through
it and it sounded great. I cant wait to try my other stable of guitars throught it.
Again if your a beginner or pro GET THIS AMP!
Portable,Great Price,Full of Features by itself and then add the Fender Fuse!,Good Looking and Great Sounding!
Comments about Fender Mustang Mini 7W 1x6.5 Battery-Powered Guitar Combo Amp:
I am very satisfied for the most part. This little guy has allowed me to take up guitar again by being able to take an amp to (work) and practice. I could not do that with any ease if I had to load and unload the Peavy SC. It was and is a good investment.
For the size and price, I feel this Mini has all features I'll will need. My Studio Chorus doesn't have as many features as this little guy.
Sound quality, Great. I am a little disappointed in the actual construction quality. Just seems to be "cheap" as the battery door is just held on with staples and velcro. The battery holder I don't think will hold up to well either, although I will not use it much, but still the quality of materials used on the outside, I'm not overly impressed. But, then again for the cost, I guess it's not bad.
I feel it is worth the price. It's very small and easy to transport. It deffinetly puts out some great sounds.
Comments about Fender Mustang Mini 7W 1x6.5 Battery-Powered Guitar Combo Amp:
For campfire gigs you cant beat this little amp. from mellow to complete hardcore riffs to blistering leads, this amp can produce the sounds.
Has all the same features as its bigger brothers less the amount of presets. sounds are crisp and clear for such a small amp.
I gave it a lower quality rating due tobthe simple fact the fake vinyl covering is coming loose and the amp is only 2 weeks old.
I think this amp offers plenty of bang for your buck.
Comments about Fender Mustang Mini 7W 1x6.5 Battery-Powered Guitar Combo Amp:
I bought this as a gift because I thought I would like it. I have a VOX DA-5 that is similar...this is far superior. The amp models are worth it alone not to mention the effects and the on-line connectability for additional combinations.
Loaded with amps & effects, really different.
Fender...what more do you have to say!
Priced where I would expect.
Comments about Fender Mustang Mini 7W 1x6.5 Battery-Powered Guitar Combo Amp:
I enjoy the freedom to bring my guitar all around the house, whether I'm sitting at the computer or on the couch or even outside on the porch. I've tried a lot of portable amps including the Roland Micro, which I like very much, and the Pignose 7-100, which I didn't care for. The Mustang Mini has evrything the Micro does and a lot more. You can dial in almost any tone you want, (and I haven't even used Fuse yet!). It's plenty loud for practicing and even some jamming, albeit without drums. The batteries seem to be lasting quite a while, and there's always the AC cord when they do decide to quit.
I'm constantly amazed at the great sound that comes out of this amp! I'm sure it's bigger brothers sound better with their bigger speakers, but they can't easily be carried and used anywhere in the house or outside. Fender didn't skimp on this little guy, they included all the same features as the other Mustangs but in a very portable package! Great job.
You couldn't ask for more on a small amp!
Seems very well made, the only thing lacking is corner guards.
Can't beat it.
Comments about Fender Mustang Mini 7W 1x6.5 Battery-Powered Guitar Combo Amp:
I just got back from a small gig with a four piece band and two of us used these mini amps. I had this one and the other was a line 6. (I like mine MUCH better) The volume this thing put out was unexpected and was plenty for a small room. I got postive feed back on the sound from the band members (and crowd) and envy when it came time to pack up and go home. I'm older and willing to let a little of the bass end go to save my back!!!! Yeah, my bigger amps have wheels but it's still a pain in the back. The difference in sound is not nearly as much as you would expect.
This amp will get a lot more use than I thought simply because it's so darned handy. You can't compare it to a 100w 2-12 amp but the whole is more than the sum of it's parts. I can think of four or five jobs where it will serve quite well. I used a Yammy tele w/Seymour Duncans and a Hipshot going into this amp tonight and was very pleased with the results.
What the hey, at this price you need one!!!
Lots! Read the product specs. More different (and better) sounds out of this than I thought possible with a unit this size. If you can't find settings on this you're just not trying.
I've had good luck with Fender products and see no reason to expect anything different with this.
There's a lot here for the money. (Mine is a "like new" unit at an even better price)
