I bought this amp for one purpose: To use when quietly practicing at home and for learning new songs. For that purpose this amp is a beauty. Sounds like a black face Fender Bassman. Easy to use. Basically one tone but it's a good one. No huge bottom or bright highs, but that is not the sound it was designed for. It gives a good, clear sound which is all you need for practice. The goofy red lighting is kind of silly but that's ok. Now for those of you who want to "rock the house", or use this as your main amp with a band, don't kid yourself. It wasn't made for that purpose and if it fails you it is your fault. I've blown expensive, high-powered setups and cheap ones too. Learn to use your gear correctly and you'll be much happier. Cheers.

I bought one of these for an at home practice amp. I regularly use a Mesa 400+ head and a Bergantino NV610, so a light easy amp is necessary so I don't have to haul that monster rig.It is a decent amp. It sounds nice at low volume, and although the lights are kind of cheesy, I'm sure the kiddies out there will like them. As far as comparing to Behringer, there is no comparison. I tried a similar Behringer amp, and the Fender sounded MUCH better. This is not an amp you can gig or play loudly with, but it IS a nice little portable practice amp.

    Great amp!

    By dhinmn11

I bought this for its portability and also wanted something that sounded good and was sturdy. This amp does not disappoint on any of those! The construction is rock solid, and I was pleasantly surprised how loud this thing will play. It won't wake the neighbors from a block away.... but you may hear "TURN IT DOWN!" from others in the house with you while you are practicing :) . Then it's time to plug in headphones. The tone sounds great, and you can actually shape it quite a bit with the 3 band EQ. The light at the bottom is kind of cool. It fluctuates in brightness depending on what you are playing. No problems with it whatsoever, so I give it 5 stars overall! Very satisfied!

    Amazing Quality

    By BassmanFlypig

Wow. I got this amp 2 years ago, use it every day for hours on end, and it hasn't failed, disappointed me, or made me wish I had better yet. This is great for practice and small gigs(coffee shops, house parties, etc.). It has one basic tone that you can vary adiquately with it's EQ knobs, but not too much. I'm not complaining though, because that tone is so amazingly deep. I'm thouroghly impressed by the Rumble 25, and I'll probably buy another in the Fender Rumble series if I ever want to do anything bigger than I already am. My Ibanez GSR200 works wonders with it, and I couldn't be happier.

    Good Amp to start with!

    By JMonta

    from Costa Rica

I bought this amp when I started playing bass 3 years ago. I have tried it with my yamaha an my Ibanez bass, and both sounded pretty good. Now it isnt a incredible sound but its good for practice. the reason I rate it 5 in quality is because it had never hissed or gave me ANY problem. When I was starting (and knew nothing about this things) I used it for a small gig and cranked it up to its limit in EQ and master (stupid thing to do) and I really amazed right now how it didn't blow or anything with all I did!!!Now its a 25 amp its not for gigs (I know that now hahha), but its ok for not so loud rehearsals, jamming, and practice.

    OUTSTANDING

    By Anonymous

I have owned this amp for several years now. It is a fantastic bass amp, but since I'm mainly a guitarist, I play a guitar through it. For metal players who want a raw, mid-scooped sound, this amp is just the thing. Paired with my Boss MT-2 Metal Zone and EMG's it sounds amazing.

    nice for the money

    By J.T..

    from Ffall River Mass

i recently bought it , i wanted something light enough to carry and loud enough to blend in with a small group. the tone is beautful , i have an upright elctric bass and this amp makes it sound like an acoustic , i also have several other basses and the amp enhanced the tone quality of each one . i'm not sure what the light show at the bottom is all about but i don't pay attention to it . i've seen some less than kind reviews about this amp , but i don't see any issues that might keep anyone form buying it . it sonds like you would expect a fender to sound , i love the tone , you'll like it too after you play one note

Not The Best, But Not The Worst

    By Anonymous

Listen up all beginner bassists. This bass amplifier is not bad for you all like me, but it does get annoying with the hissing and it does not give off a heavy sound . The price for it isn't that bad either, but if you have the money i suggest a different one.

    save up for something better

    By Francisco-zWnX8

    from Rockaway Beach, NY

I bought this amp a few years ago for practice and I stopped using it after a couple of months. It had an annoying buzz when I turned the volume up and it wasnt very powerful. The knobs also fell off after a few weeks. My advice is to just save up some more money and get something better. The Fender Bassman series are reliable, I have a 60 watt for practice now, bought it used 3 years ago, and it still sounds good with my jazz bass.

    Sir tank

    By sir tank

    from lake george Co.

well this amp was good when i began but then i noticed a loss in power and it was really buzzing so if you get this its not good for gigs more pratice. if you get this amp to play on a lot you need to get a better one not long after you have it so id save and buy something else.

    Good for Beginners

    By tass2001

    from Pensacola, FL

This Fender Bass amp is good only for beginners mainly because it starts to produce this buzzing noise when you turn up the volume or bass to high.It also takes about 5 to 10 seconds for it to start when you flip the switch. This bass amp is only good for beginners and good for your money not quality.
