75 watts of booty-shaking power in a sweet Fender combo.

The 75W Fender Rumble 75 Bass Combo Amp will envelope you in undulating waves of idyllic bass bliss before you even turn it up very loud, so you better brace yourself. The Rumble amp's powerful tone is the result of pushing 75 watts through a 12" Fender Special Design Speaker, and you can blend adjusted-to-taste overdrive with pure, clean bass tone for first-rate Fender bass sound. The optional footswitch turns the overdrive on/off on the fly. The Rumble 75 also boasts a pair of EQ presets for chest-pounding punch and pulsing mid-scoop, plus a convenient tilt-back design for improved monitoring.

The full-featured Rumble 75 bass combo features a professionally voiced pre-amp, vented cabinet for enhanced bass response, tilt back design to hear yourself better. Get a killer overdrive effect with the help of the gain and blend controls (footswitchable with optional footswitch), optimized for bass to give mellow warmth or heavy distorted tones. The Punch and scoop preset EQ shapes are ideal for finger and slap style tones. The 4-band active EQ delta comp adaptive compression circuitry gives you even tone, without losing the finer details of your sound. The included line out is great for direct recording or live use, and the combo also features a headphone jack for silent jamming and practicing. An included auxilliary input works great for CD/MP3, tape or drum machine to help you get into the mix and work out your rhythms and tempos. Black vinyl covering, rugged black metal grille, and nickel corners round out the sturdy shell to this combo.

I am ecstatically amazed at the sonic quality of Fender's Rumble 75 bass amp. I have been playing bass for nearly 43 years, and I needed a small personal practice amp since I no longer play out and sold my stage rig.

The Rumble 75 is very well designed, and of excellent sonic quality. The tone controls are very well voiced, and I quickly & easily dialed in a great sound. This amp sounds much larger than it actually is thanks to its 75 clean continous watts of pre-distortion power. The unsung hero here is Fender's unique "Delta-Comp" adaptive internal compressor. You don't see it, but you sure can hear it! A great plus in my book.

The overdrive is quite good, and is better than many 'stompboxes'. I could add just enough 'UMPH' to give my sound a nice warm tube amp vibe. Or just go over the top with full on "Iron Man" fuzz tone. And anywhere in between.

The two shape buttons really work well and are not just marketing gimmicks.

The 12" speaker is well designed & built. It sounds great! The tilt back monitor styled cabinet is also well designed with excellent build quality. Tight & Punchy this combo kicks out solid low end you can feel. There is also tons of top end. While this amp does get very loud, it also sounds good at low volumes too, and that's a big plus for me.

The Rumble 75 is an insanely good value! For the price of a couple of stompboxes - Overdrive and also a Compressor - You also get an extremely good sounding & SEXY 75 watt bass amp! If bass amps can be sexy, this one is most assuredly so. :) Highly Recommended.

If you are going to be playing in a band, do yourself a big favor and step up to the Rumble 150 or 350.

Well, I read about a few people having distortion/static issues with this amp. I thought that it would be a long shot to get a defective amp, but it happened. As some have said across the internet: the amp rocks for a few days, then one day you plug it on and the tone is distorted. When it did work, it sounded VERY nice, with great tone. Plenty loud to jam with a drummer. Simple and straight forward. But the static issues overshadow the good points of the amp. Some say the issues are from the bass you use. Well I have a Fender P-bass and an Ibanez SR500. Both present the issue. In fact, the static is there when the bass is unplugged from the amp.Sadly, I can't recommend this amp. If you get a good one... more power to you. I loved it for the 3 days I got out of it... wish it could have been more.

Comments about Fender Rumble 75 75W 1x12 Bass Combo Amp:

This is simply a great sounding amp with sufficient power to handle a small to medium venue. The Fender name gives me confidence in its durability. Although primarily used for bass amplification, it provides a wonderful, meaty sound for guitars. This is a great amp. I got it used from musician's friend and could not find a single flaw. The price was less than a 30W Fender Rumble. I am one happy camper.

Comments about Fender Rumble 75 75W 1x12 Bass Combo Amp:

The Fender Bronco 40 is a decent practice bass amp at low volume, but the 10" speaker farts when turned up. I was looking for a better speaker when I saw the Rumble 75 in blonde at MF for under One Fifty BRAND NEW! Not a fan of blonde, but the price was right. Good warm, full bass with no farting out at higher volumes. Good for small gigs without a Neanderthal drummer. Also pretty good for guitar with the OD knobs cranked. UPS beat up the box pretty badly...inside packaging falling out, but amp survived OK. I wish MF would double-box. Overall, good sound at great price.

Comments about Fender Rumble 75 75W 1x12 Bass Combo Amp:

The speaker is cheap and weak. Without the boost button, the 75watt head has no more power than a 10watt practice amp. It's as heavy as a 300 watt combo amp that you could play out with. The cabinet is built as well as a Mesa Boogie diesel cabinet and weighs as much. It's a pretty, well built amp, with no power, cheap speaker with a dime size magnet. Maybe a bedroom amp, but it's so darn big and heavy and weak powered that it couldn't have any other use. I would not buy this amp.

Great sounding amp- not just a "practice" amp but the real deal in a small package. Great for rehearsals, smaller gigs or big gigs with DI to pa.
Even reproduces 5th string. I guess Fender knows a bit about bass amps.

I was tired of moving heavy equipment (1970's tube amp) and this fills the bill for my perfomances with the church band. I play guitar, pedal steel and bass with the church band and they all sound great through this amp.
