When i first started playing the guitar I thought that fender was a cheap sounding brand. I first heard a Fender amp I was not impressed at all I thought that the sound was cheap and hollow. But as time passed I stand corrected. I learned that every amp has a differnet sound. When I whent to get another amp a sales associate toke me and showed me the Stage 100 DSP. At first I thought of the previous experience I had with Fender. But lo and behold the Stage 100 DSP was the one I bought it had so many different fetaures. The tone was great it feeled the room with a warm tone a creamy tone. I think this is one of the best amps that is a solid state that is offerd to todays musicians.

after a bad start with this amp,(the first one was damaged and had to be returned) it sounds killer with my american series strat. i also own a marshall 50 and a crate 65 and this amp blows them both away. i never thought i'd prefer ANYTHING over my marshall. my ibanez rg 550 also manages to get an awesome tone out of this amp. for ultimate cranking i recommend hooking up the extension speaker. i made my own cabinet and used a 12" jensen speaker. with this set up it can rival almost any 2-12 combos. with this price, you can't go wrong...just test it really thoroughly before you get settled in with it.

This is a great amp, very easy to use and set up.This is a gig-worthy amp, especially for those on the go. Very loud and you get a very good tone. A must for those of us who are on a budget.By the way, it makes a good practice amp.
Speaker blew out after about a month of using it with volume between 4-8. I was a little dissapointed by that. I think it would be worth it to spend 100 more dollars for a Hot Rod Deville. The difference between 60 and 100 watts is really not that important and the Hot Rod is tube, much better quality.
Don't listen to any of the reviews that says this amp stinks, because it DOESN"T, I have had this amp for about 2 months now and has been about the only amp I've used for my bands gigs, with my Iceman I can get superior sounds and to me great distorsion, you probably will have to buy a pedal sooner or later (I suggest a Whammy with this amp) but overall great amp and very inexpensive amp.
Have been playing for over 30 years. Have had many amplifiers. Currently run a Marshall and the Fender stage 100. This Fender Amp provides everything you need in one package. For practice you can use it as is. For live gigs I use a Fender 4 x 12 under it and get the 160 watt output and all the sound you need. The built in effects and the easy-to-use footswitch eliminated a lot of pedals and the hassle. I only use my Marshall for acoustic/electric guitar. Very good sound and quality.
I sold a 210 watt @ 4ohms w/1-15 to buy the fender stage amp. this is just as loud with a much better tone, and man its only 42lbs! I love it!!
This Fender amp with its extension speaker cab is a gutsy tone monster! My Super Strat screams like a banshee through this thing. I've looked a long time for just the right amp sound- this is it! I play christian contemporary music every week end and the Fender Stage 100 DSP is my trusty workhorse. 'Nuff SAID!
With all of the effects available, I was able to get knobs I've never heard anywhere. The mid-contour switch also made a huge difference in the overall sound of the distortion. Basically, I was able to get a range of sounds, from good old rockabilly to ragin nu-metal to some southern rock style midrange sound
this is a great amp. ive played on many before and the onboard effects are really great. when you use the effects on the amp with other pedals you can create very unique and incredible sounds. i would highly recommend it and the extebsion cab as well!
This is the nicest amp in the DSP line. It has plenty of power to give a fuller tone than the Deluxe 90 DSP. It also has a separate reverb function with several options that are not on the Deluxe. The Celestion speaker is a great bonus and discounts any reason to get a Marshall. The ability to use the foot pedal functions without the foot pedal is a real bonus on most Fender amps.
This amp is very cheaply made. I own both the cyber twin and deluxe. Both Mexican made and good quality. The Stage 100 is poor quality very cheaply made and the effects section didn't work right when i got it.
