I've had mine for a year. It looks very cool and sounds just as cool. It's quality all the way. The clean sound is soothing and the two distortion channels are disciplinable. The full sound given by the Fender 412 cabinet provides ample background for solo gigging with my just strat and my vocals, something that wouldn't work through a smaller amp. Always wanted to set the acoustic guitar aside for a few songs and pick up the strat, but the strat sound wasn't full enough. Now with this halfstack, I have plenty of guitar sound for support. Some would complain that tubes are the thing; maybe, but mylocation necessitates that I travel at least 70 miles to gig, and that can be up to three or four nights per week. Don't like the idea of rattling tubes around on the road; too many other concerns to be concerned with. Fender is my friend.

This amp sounds good and puts out a lot of power, but the pedals die out fast, i mean the pedal switches actually die, they stop working and the only way to change the effects is to turn the effect volume up and down for the effects. i'd buy it because of the name and i like the sound, but the quality of the actual product is not good. plus, gotta get a new pedal...

So glad I took a chance

I couldnt find this amp in any of my local stores so I didnt get a chance to hear it before I bought it...I was not dissapointed. This amp aside from being very affordable sounded as good as I could have hoped for...I almost went with the Marshal MG100(which sells for about the same price and sounds good too) but a freind of mine has one and its givin him nothin but problems. Anyway I'm very glad I took a chance, Fender did not let me down.

LOUD head

This head is great, i use it with a marshall cab, it is LOUD! it's rather heavy, but it's built very well. mine gets very heavy use, and it hasn't let me down yet. the FX are amazing. there is one problem, with my marshall cab, it doesn't work on the clean channel. overall, it's a great amp.

extremely loud amp. plays excellently on clean and dirty channel. the more overdrive feature is not very good, but you get an almost full distortion if you mess with the EQ enough.

Totally Fender

Right out of the box Fender sound and power. Wow, I am shocked that this is a solid state amp. Years ago I would never have bought anything but a tube amp, now my ears have shown that Fender finally got it right. It's amazing that this head is so clean.

Nice and reliable

By mainj77

I bought this amp due to the constant problems I was having with my tube head. The price was right and I was impressed with all of the effects and features packed into one head. It has since become my main amp and I'm in no hurry to buy another one. Works great with my gigging band.

variable tones, fender=nice stuff, worth price

By lacipyt180

I have this amp in my room at my house, and every time i play i always get yelled at to turn it down...however i can't manage to do that. it just can't be quiet. I love the variability in the tones i can get, and having two channels makes everything incredibly easy.

Packs a punch...

This hard-working amp is a great deal for when considering the price tag. Prior to purchasing this amp, I was playing through a Marshall Valvestate 100-watt head. After trying out this Fender bad-boy, I made the switch immediately. I am very impressed with the tone-shaping capabilities that this amp provides. Not only can you generate great rock tones, but smooth jazz tones can be dialed in as well. I run my amp through a Marshall 4x12 cab and the results are terrific. However, you might want to invest in an overdrive/distortion pedal because the amp's drive channel can get a bit noisy at louder volumes. An Ibanez Tubescreamer was a perfect match for me because it really pushes the amp to produce seering overdriven sounds without the excess noise.

Fender is my friend

I've owned this amp for about three months and it is amazing. The only problem i have is the distortion dirty channel gives off a lot of hiss. The effects are incredible and the clean channel has that classic crisp sound. Great Amp for the money.
