The ULT-4 footswitch is a must-have for anyone who owns a Fender G-DEC amplifier. Makes the operation of the amp settings and features so much easier and faster. Would have given it five stars if the toggle switches were more separated.

My son got this for Christmas last year as his teacher said he needed it to go with his new G-Dec Amp. It worked well for a while, then quit working completly. He needs it so he is getting another one for Christmas but this time with the extended warranty.

The only thing more necessary than this is a laptop running Fuse. The tuner feature alone makes this a must have. The switches have become noisy after a few months of use. I'll try some contact cleaner and let you know. I really enjoy the G-DEC 30. It's a pretty powerful little box.Gigs fine when hooked into PA. Effects sound great, some have said they sound digital, but not to me. Just don't have too many at once.

Ruggedly constructed, and definately something you want to have with the G-Dec! My only complaint is that the buttons are a little too close together...it's very compact, but I find that every once in while, my elephant foot hits one of the other buttons as well accidently. That being said...not much you can do about it...it's the only footswitch available for this amp!! :) Just tread lightly! haha

I have had my Gdec for almost 2 yrs. and just got the F/S for it. If you have a GDEC, you need the F/S.It's so much nicer that always returning to the amp. I have my presets set up so that one preset is for a "rythm" part of a song and the next preset is for the "lead" part. I start with rythm settting then switch "channels/preset" to get lead sound, and then go back to ryhtm "channel/preset" to finish song. Works great.Use it like this for band practice/rehersals.
