Comments about Fishman Loudbox Artist PRO-LBX-600 Acoustic Combo Amp:

I usually play electrics, but wanted an amp for my acoustics. I pick up an Acoustisonic Jr. and after a week, replaced it for the Fishman. This amp exceeded my expectations! I guess that's why everyone gives it 5 stars. After a while to get used to Artist by itself, I decided to plug in my Line 6 floor pod to see how it would handle a peddle to augment the effects. The sound is amazing with my 12 string and my electrics. You won't be disappointed when you plug in. Sorry, I did not feel as strong about the Mini, the Artist has more options. Thanks Fishman!!!

Comments about Fishman Loudbox Artist PRO-LBX-600 Acoustic Combo Amp:

I used this amplifier for the first time in anger yesterday evening. It more than surpassed my expectations.
People in the audience were truly gob-smacked at the clarity, power and quality of this wee thing (as was I).
I fed a TC-Helicon VL3X into channel 1 for both guitar and vocals - that was it - it was all I needed. Stunning sound which made me proud to be on stage!

Comments about Fishman Loudbox Artist PRO-LBX-600 Acoustic Combo Amp:

This amp is amazing, small in size and with only one 8" speaker the fullness of the sound is surprising. It has lots of low end and with 120 watts it can fill a fair sized room. I play at small venues and love not only the guitar, but also the vocal sound. The feedback control does it's job although sitting close to the amp is sometimes a fine line of adjustment to still achieve that big bottom full sound. I also like the extra input on the back which has it's own volume control, sometimes my Grandson joins me and he plugs in there.
I am 66 years old and still playing about 115 gigs a year, on that note I would say that the 25 LB. weight is so appreciated. I am very selective in what I choose in equipment, it has to have a good quality sound and still be portable and affordable. It's not cheap, but I feel if your music is worth it, if you are worth it, then it's money well spent.

I haven't used this on a gig yet but just getting used to it at home, I know it it will perform well. For on board effects this has the best I've come across. Plenty of power and a nice sound. I can't wait to use it on a gig. Small, light, powerful and versatile.

Comments about Fishman Loudbox Artist PRO-LBX-600 Acoustic Combo Amp:

First I tried the Acoustic A40 which had good sound but no volume and hard to use dsp digital selectors and I couldn't get the effects to turn up or down on the opposite channel. In comparison I'm not sure this one has as much warmth in the sound but it's does sound good and the feedback protection is just ok. The rest of my comments are very good. Plenty of gain and volume. Easy to use analogue controls. Once you understand and get used to the effect dials you're set. Learning curve is fairly quick. I put the guitar at 1/4 volume and 1/2 on the dynamic microphone. You have to point the mic up and have it at least 6 feet way or you will get mic feedback regardless of the anti-feed back control. Tried a studio condensor mic and it was pretty much impossible to eliminate feedback. Once you get the positioning of the amp and mic you should be ok but it's always in the back or your mind. Effects are good. I just put a slight delay and that's better than any of the other effects for me. The delay gives me the right depth so it sounds like I'm in a right sized room. I don't like over done effects. Portablility is good for something this loud. Anything more than 25 pounds and this size is not comfortably portable in the sense that it would be awkward to bring from the car to the venue in one hand. So my hat comes off for an amp that was designed around 5 years ago but still is above the competition for medium to small sized venues. Bravo Fishman.

Comments about Fishman Loudbox Artist PRO-LBX-600 Acoustic Combo Amp:

I bought the Artist amp primarily to amplify a digital piano keyboard and to have a backup acoustic amp for acoustic/electic guitars and microphones. The Artist works very well for all those purposes. The digital piano sounds almost like an acoustic piano, and when using the reverb the sound is much like playing in a large room or hall. With a guitar the amp does just what it is designed to do, and does it very well.

Comments about Fishman Loudbox Artist PRO-LBX-600 Acoustic Combo Amp:

I have been looking for an Amp that had balanced powered XLR input. I looked at all the big names nothing. Was browsing the website and ran across Fishman. Heard of them but not a big name; took a look at their amps. 2 channels BOTH with a combo Unbalanced and Balanced (XLR) inputs that you can turn on the 24volt power if you need phantom power. Just what I was looking for in an amp. I have an AMT accordion condenser pickup that needs powered XLR input. The controls are great. All kinds of options. The sound is acceptable with just an 8in speaker. That can be swapped out for a high grade speaker easy enough. It really handles feedback great. Only 25lbs and 13.5 inches high but don't let that fool you this is a very high quality amp.

This amp is a good value. EQ is very useful. Increased volume add a bit of low end but easily corrected. Great reverb. Works great for guitar and vocal for solo act. Aux in actually adds a third channel. Interfaces well with PA or powered speaker Half the price and twice the power of an AER Compact 60.
