Comments about Fryette Deliverance Sixty D60H 60W Tube Guitar Amp Head:
It is clean to mean and all points in between! Built like a tank in the U.S. and is just an amazing instrument, 5+ years I have never been let down... and you know how G.A.S can be!!!
I saw a Steven Curtis Chapman one time and the guitarist was using one... for the clean channel lol
But I can tell you it is able to do the most agressive tight rockin' tones... I've played it next to Marshalls, Fenders, Splawns, Carvins and I always walked away with a glowing heart!
These things just might be the best amp on the planet! The best IMO
I have owned this for 5 years, my head is a VHT (before the name change).
I has produced what ever tone I need, always...I've played it next to a 69 Fender Super... on the way to the jam I was wondereing how it would fair.
Well I didn't covet the Fender, and I grew up playing one and with a reverb in the pedal chain, feel
it produces tone that good, but with head room to spare.
The gains go from Megadeth to Hendrix...its that good, dial in what ever you need.
Top notch, no issues in since I bought it in 2006 and its the one piece of hear I've never sold! I blew one power tube and its been stable ever since!
This amp will produce what ever you want, period, what is that worth? Its USA made and is the best amp for the money; its worth more that it sells for becuase it is a audio swiss army knife!
Comments about Fryette Deliverance Sixty D60H 60W Tube Guitar Amp Head:
For a single channel amp, this amp is extremely versatile. It's bare bones, no frills look gives off an amazing sound. For a high gain amp, it's suitable for any style. It's aggressive, very tight, big-sounding amp with crazy-musical mids and tons of bottom end. The Deliverance is capable of a lot of sounds that a lot of other amps just can't do. The gain shape knob on the Deliverance can take it into totally different tonal territory. Plus, it cleans up better with the guitar's volume knob than any other high-gain amp I've ever heard in my life. Insane how nice the cleans are from just the volume knob.
Fryette knows his stuff. This amp will last. Very well built. You can say Fryette in the same breath as Bogner, Splawn, Soldano, etc.
In short, I'm a semi pro musician. I gig, record and rehearse. This amp suits my needs and then some. I've played/owned well over a dozen amps in the last few years, I found MY tone with this one. It's capable of producing a sound to meet every style I play. It cuts thru the mix with ease. I invest in quality gear. My guitars are a Gibson Les Paul and a Gibson SG. I demand quality and that's what Fryette is quality. I've been playing for well over 15 years now, this is the best amp for me.
I don't use an efx loop, but it would be nice to have. A footswitch for the more/less switch would be ideal, but not needed.
It has everything you need in terms of gain stages, volume, prescence, depth, eq and switchable ohms output.
Built like a tank. Very clean inside. Well put together. Solid.
Tone wise, untouchable.
For the price and the amount of tones it's capable of, it's in the same league as a Bogner.
