For those of us whose amps do not feature tremolo it seems a purchase of the Boss TR-2 is a rite of passage for guitarists. Unfortunately we soon discover that the TR-2 is noisy, muffles tone and produces a severe volume drop. This, naturally, sends us in search of alternatives. Top end gear is never cheap but I already own and love the Fulltone Fulldrive 2 so I went looking for a Fulltone product again. Enter the Supa Trem which not only avoids the pitfalls of cheaper pedals but opens an entirely new dimension of musicality and control. It is very organic sounding with zero detectable noise (e.g. ticking from the internal components). I was worried about not having a waveform pot but the hard/soft control takes care of that department. The speed control is a unique and very usable feature. The main controls - speed and mix - are standard on all trems but these permit very gradual changes . It's such a warm, musical sound that I now leave this pedal on 70% or more of the time on a very subtle setting just to give a bit more life to my overall guitar sound. It required no adjustments of the internal pots right out of the box but it's comforting to know they are available if needed. Can't recommend it enough.

Comments about Fulltone Supa-Trem Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
New stuff that has that old sound. I bought this trem for one thing, that "Born on the Bayou" CCR sound. It does it, and more. It is pro-grade solid built, but don't take my word for it, this is what John Fogerty uses now. I am a novice, and this cost as much as my used 50 watt Marshall tube amp, but for the sound, worth every nickle.

Comments about Fulltone Supa-Trem Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
This is the real deal, and Fulltone units are the best your money can buy both in terms of quality and sound and cost (you get what you pay for). They use design techniques and standards that are far above most companies and they haven't invented anything new here, they just design and build great effects that pass your entire instrument signal without coloration to its tonal qualities (and with the effect, quite an accomplishment but not difficult). In this case, they have replicated the wonderful, full of tone, tremolo effect as heard/experienced on older Marshall and Fender amps. Plug in, add some sweet spring reverb and push it into a nice tube amp and you've got the most wondeful delta blues slide setup imaginable, or, twang some country and you'll hear the familiar sounds of some of the greatest hits. Crank the amp into oblivion and step on the switches the right way and it's metal-mania time. Get this thing, you won't be sorry and you'll have it years from now as well.

Exactly what I want from a tremolo pedal. Warm, sweet and organic, yet with no clouding of the input signal.
Comments about Fulltone Supa-Trem Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
This is a great tremolo. I had the Boss TR-2 for a while but wasn't happy with it. So, after seeing one of these on a friends board, I decided to bite the bullet and get one. I will never look back. The main thing I love about this pedal is that I can set the speed of the trem, with my foot, to the tempo of the song we are doing and see it with the red LED so that there is no guessing before I engage the trem. I love the hard/soft feature too. The soft trem give you a very smooth vintage trem and the hard trem can give you almost a machine gun effect with the speed turned up and sounds great with mild distortion. This is a very versatile tremolo and well worth the money. The case is built like a tank too. I have 2 of them, one on each of my pedalboards. Just buy it, you will not be disappointed.
Comments about Fulltone Supa-Trem Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
Fulltone get high marks for this great sounding pedal. The range of effect goes from barely audible to helicopter choppy. With the pedal engaged or bypassed there is very little noise, perhaps an order or magnitude less than a tube amplifier on idle. There is no killing or modification on your guitar tone or dynamics. The hard and soft waves sound noticeably different, that hard wave a bit more choppy and the soft a bit smoother and more dreamy. Build quality is excellent. The speed switch is almost unnecessary, as the speed dial easily goes from 0.25 or 0.5 hertz to 120 hertz. I guess the switch give you a quick way to double the tempo. The only drawbacks I see is that the speed LED is too bright and gives me the jitters, even when the effect is on bypass. I blacked out the speed LED with acrylic paint. Also, the pedal comes with no power supply, but it is a fairly common 9V with negative center (like a One Spot).

Comments about Fulltone Supa-Trem Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
This trem is great. It goes frm barely noticeable to full blown middle of the ocean rocking your tiny boat peaks and valleys. And it sounds just like a vintage trem that was built in to a classic tube amp. Get it!
Comments about Fulltone Supa-Trem Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
This pedal is awesome, I got it for christmas, and was really stoked by it. When you turn it on, the red light by the 'speed' button flashes to the timing you are in, so even before you press the bypass, you know what speed the tremolo is at, so it makes it easy to make some live adjustments. And those big knobs help to just turn with your shoe. This pedal has a really great vintage tremolo sound, like those found in the tube amps. The Hard/Soft button is awesome. If you have the mix set about 12 o'clock, and the pedal on, soft...you actually get a really amazing tone boost. It found this out, because it was in the manual. Very cool pedal overall. Don't cheap out and buy something else...this is what you want.
Comments about Fulltone Supa-Trem Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
I love Fulltone products, they have that vintage modern thing nailed. Tremolo may seem limited to some but can be used in several ways. A slow speed for delta blues really sounds sweet, mixing the effect in the background can be used on anything to fatten your sound. The Supa-Trem has a speed button to cut the effect in half or double it which ever way you choose. The hard setting gets that toggle switch effect that you get with a Les Paul without trashing your toggle switch. Thanks, Mark from Indy
