A louder, lighter, tighter 8x10.
800W handling at 4 ohms and a passive crossover for the tweeter combine with 8 specially designed heavy-magnet 10" woofers and a revolutionary cabinet design to produce extremely tight, high-definition bass that gets loud without getting mushy. The Gallien Krueger 810SBX has sculpted bracing and 9-ply poplar shell with barely recessed front panel make it lighter than other 8x10 cabs. 16-gauge steel grille is supported by rubber stops inside so it won't dent in. 3" wheels on back and a brushed steel handlebar across the top back provide tilt-and-drive convenience for moving. Works with G-K Horn Management System or bridged/full. Perfectly voiced tweeter for bass. Heavy plastic stackable corners and rugged carpet covering with 1/4" and Speakon connectors. Fantastic looks come from great attention to detail and brushed G-K logo. 1-year warranty on speakers. 2-year warranty on electronics.

I originally played this cab at McFadyen Music, and I have to say, I was dumbstruck. This 810 is just awesome when it comes to tonal quality. If I could afford this, I would buy it.
I've waited a good 6 months to write about this cab so that i could be confident that my statements are accurate, and now i am jumping out of my pants to talk about it. This is the best sounding 810 i have ever played through or heard for that matter. It can do everything from the low-mid range sound that 810's are known for and do a scooped sound for funk just as well. The extra internal volume does make a noticable difference in how low this cabinet can go. My 5 string rumbles clearly, even when i drop it a step to A. I have never been dissapointed by GK's quality, and this cabinet surpasses their standards. I highly reccomend it!
I didn't think that a cab alone could transform my bass sound entirely, but Gallien-Krueger proved me wrong. There is no tone I can muster with my Ibanez 5-string that this cab can't recreate with beauty and astounding power!!! All I have to say is BUY IT!
I switched from a Mesa/Boogie 2x15 RoadReady in the summer of last year for this cab. In the store it sounded great but once I got it out on tour and in different venues large and small it
Unless you plan on purchasing a RBH 410 and RBH 115 with a 2000 head there is no other amp system like it! Only GK gives me the growl, depth, mid-range and just plain flat-out beautiful tone as GK! Not Ampeg (Don?t get me wrong; Ampeg is great an all but when you need a stalwart amp system for the price and distinctive sound go with this cab and a 1001 GK head). I play an assortment of music ranging from funk and rock in a 3-instrument band so I add a lot of fills and melodies since we only have one guitar. It can go loud and it can go pretty soft. There is no complaints on this cabinet. So Buy It! Cherish it! Love it!
The tone and volume of this cab is unbeatable for the price! If you take this cab and stack it next to an 8X10 ampeg... it will be louder and cleaner everytime. I Absolutely recommend this cab for those bass players who are looking to step up to an 8X10...
