Well, as probably alot of you looking at this are, I was looking for a decent amp that was in my budget range. Me having only around 300 to buy a amp made my choices very slim. I looked around and this was by far the best deal I could find. I was also considering getting a fender rumble 100, but my friend had one and had some trouble with his. Also, this has more features for the same price. I ordered it and of course through musicians friend, my transaction was smooth. I just got it today and I couldn't be happier. If you are looking for an amp, this is definetly the way to go. By far the best value on the net.
(Played with a Fender J-Bass)The setup is nice for my home use. The head is good because of its basic setup and reliability. You might consider trying a 2x10 or a 4x10 because a 1x15 like this without a horn lacks punchy mid's and highs. The head comes with its own cover and the cab is is quite durable. Overall, this is a great "intro half-stack" and packs a gread deal of fetures for the price!!
I bought this combo just a couple of weeks ago, and have just loved it. I combined it with a Backline 600, and the Backline 410 BLX. I was kinda unhappy with the lows from the 410, but this fifteen does the trick. If your wanting an affordable halfstack. This one is it. The amp alone is worth 3/4s of it. Anything else can't beat it for the budget.
When I needed the extra sound because a small combo amp wasn't cutting it, I looked for a good deal on a decent size amp. I found this and I will never regret it. I play with a Peavey Millenium bass and this amp shakes the house. It is also fun to play around with the settings to fit your style of music and your style of play. If you need an affordable stack that has decent sound, this is what you need to get.
