I've had mine for about 2yrs now I love for one after the show I would pack up everything rush of stage, get home the next day and yep left a guitar stand. I love the combination of the pedal and guitar stand and since I use rackmount effects it fits all my footswitchs, cables and wah wah just fine.
I've had this pedal board for about a year and I hate it. First of all, the sides of the base come up too far. With my tuner on the bottom right, my cable that runs from my bass to the tuner gets bent upward by the edge of the base. Secondly, everything about the build quality is bad. It held up alright during the first six months, but then the screws holding the stand together started stripping out. Then a couple months later the hinges on the stand broke along with the main hinges on the back of the case. It is now a pile of junk. I am now searching for new pedal board and I won't be buying from Gator.
I bought this a few years back and have regretted it ever since. While it's a great idea of putting a stand in the top of the case, it's bulky and I've had the stand collapse in on itself a few times while putting my guitars in it (the stand folds out and rests on a small lip on the inside of the top). My other issue is the depth of the board itself, being that I have trouble sometimes with actually activating my soft-switch (BOSS, Line 6 Tone Core, etc) pedals. While it is a sturdy case and can take a beating, it's not worth the price nor the frustration of dealing with it.
I'm a bass player and therefore don't have many effects (5 pedals + power) and this case is perfect! Don't be fooled though it is bigger than it looks! I was amazed bu the quality of the case when I got it and the stand that pops up is nice and padded so it won't scratch your axe!
I can't believe it took this long for someone to come up with such a cool idea for a pedal board! I hope that everyone who needs a pedal board looks this one over!
