This is the 1st Gibson amp I`ve bout after over 35yrs of playing. All I can say is holy sh%#! The clean channel has tons of headroom and the dirt channel is very responsive to tone settings. Run the bass mids and treble low and you get a nice smooth singing sound. Turn them up to taste and it can get down right nasty. I never liked V30 speakers, but they match this amp perfectly. Unfortunately Gibson discontinued the 5 button switch, but I was lucky enough to find a dealer that had one stashed in his warehouse. The amp looks like a piece of art with all the gold on it too. I`ll be putting some Fender tilt back legs on it because when the amp is pointed at your guitar, the controlable feedback rivals my 2Rock. Highly recommended, especially at this price.
Delivers both the Fender Twin and the Marshall Bluesbreaker sounds.
this amp has really good tone. it cuts through most distortion which is good when having two distinct guitars. this amp having only 1 12 and 1 10 is a really good combination. Despite its low number of watts, this amp has a lot of power and gain. the only problem i would have with this is that the 5-way footswitch is so expensive.
