OVERVIEW

An excellent and much stronger alternative to velcro straps.

Godlyke Power-All PG-1M Power-Grip Pedal Mounting Tape keeps your guitar pedals on your pedal board where they belong. Power-Grip is an excellent alternative to pedal board Velcro. Simple, yet ingenious, Power-Grip pedal board tape mates to itself via rows of tiny mushroom-shaped posts that form a much stronger bond than traditional "hook & loop" Velcro fasteners. Just cut to size, apply, and GRIP.

Keep your pedals tightly gripped in place. Order today.

If you want your pedals to stay where you put them then this is the ticket. It is a little pricy, but it is solid. You only get one strip that is approximately 34 inches long so that really only gives you half that length for your board and pedals. It took me three rolls to do attach seven pedals to a Pedalboard Jr.
A few things to note are that the backing glue holds super to a flat bottom metal pedal, but not as well to a pedal with a rubber strip on the bottom. You will also need to remove any rubber feet from your pedal so it can sit low and attach to the tape on the board. I turned the tape up about three quarters of an inch on the metal side of the couple of pedals I have with a full rubber piece mounted on the bottom. You could just remove the rubber, but I thought that a little too drastic in the event I wanted to sell or trade a pedal later. Turning the tape up the side seems to work well. You also might want to think about your pedal placement before locking everything down. You can remove your pedals, but you might need a small crowbar to get a corner up. This stuff really holds!

Comments about Godlyke Power-All PG-1M Power-Grip Pedal Mounting Tape:

Strongest pedal tape on the market. Once your pedals are set it will be a pain to get them off. Its better than the pedals not sticking i guess...........
Does what it says. Beware however this doesn't work good with felt surfaces. Pedal trains are ideal as well as anything plexi glass.
Real strong once the stuff is set it is hard to get hard
The stuff works good but one roll goes fast. I have a 12x24 pedalboard with 7 pedals and I needed to buy a second roll.

Comments about Godlyke Power-All PG-1M Power-Grip Pedal Mounting Tape:

During the summer months, and even on some days, when I would open my pedalboard case, my pedals would be drooping all over. With power grip, I can barely get a pedal off the board! It really is the best method to get pedals stuck to a board. There's really not much more I can say about it. It says what it's going to do and does it.
It's velcro basically... not really feature heavy. It's got the sticky side and the attaching side, like all velcro.
If it holds up like it sticks, there should be no problems.
So far, this has been a vast improvement to the stock velcro with my pedalboard. It works and I can't argue with that.

Worth the money! You will have trouble getting your pedals off when you use this stuff. You have to use a metal straight edge and gradually wedge it apart.

Comments about Godlyke Power-All PG-1M Power-Grip Pedal Mounting Tape:

I picked up my first pro level pedalboard when my band started playing out several times a week and I got tired of the hassle of dealing with my pedals before every show. Even though I only use 4 pedals (a dual input stage tuner, wah, volume and a Sansamp DI) they are a necessity when you gig out like we do so I invested in a Pedal Train board with a Voodoo Labs power supply. The board came with what seemed to be nice, wide and very sticky velcro and there was plenty included to set the board up. The only problem was after just a few months the pedals began sliding all over the board so I hopped on here and found this stuff. Let me tell you this stuff is SOLID. When in place the adhesive bonded instantly so make sure you line things up right before placing it cause it does not come back off easily! Once placed and locked down my pedals are now as solid as rocks with absolutely no movement. On the flip side if you need to pull the pedals off for some reason its not real difficult to do so. I can't accurately describe just how good a job this stuff really is but after months of constant gigging it has not once failed, slipped or slid at all. The only downside is the price. Unlike velcro when you pick up a roll of this you don't get 2 strips (one hook and one loop) but rather one single piece. I figured 2 rolls would be plenty to mount up 4 pedals but I was mistaken and had to order a 3rd to finish the job and a little quick addition will tell you just what my total investment was. the bottom line is if you want to set up an incredibly tough, solid pedalboard then this is the way to go as long as you're prepared for the hit your gonna take to your wallet! For me personally it was worth every penny.

Comments about Godlyke Power-All PG-1M Power-Grip Pedal Mounting Tape:

I was surprised that I couldn't find regular Velcro backed tape for pedals on the website. This looked like the only option, so I gave it a shot. It seems to have strong adhesive and keeps the pedal in place well. I'll let you know in the long run if there are problem, but so far this is an excellent product.

Don't believe the hype. The 'super' adhesive backing did not stay stuck to the backs of my pedals or the surface of my pedalboard. A complete waste of my money!

Very good product , Very satisfied.
              Strong as a gorrilla.
              Works as expected.
I would have wish that the the length of the material was longer for the price . But not a major problem.

Comments about Godlyke Power-All PG-1M Power-Grip Pedal Mounting Tape:

As far as grip goes, it holds like there is no tomorrow. The adhesive is very strong and holds on to the surface of my board and smooth metal surfaces great. BUT, it doesn't hold on to the rubber pad on the bottom of the pedals that MOST pedals have. The few I have with slick metal bottoms (who makes those?)are there to stay, but those with pads...this doesn't hold any different than velcro.

Comments about Godlyke Power-All PG-1M Power-Grip Pedal Mounting Tape:

This mounting tape, (works similar to Velcro, but much stronger), is the best I have been able to find. The only problem, I couldn't find a retailer that offered to sell longer than the roughly 3' length, however, the manufacturer sells in various lengths. (Maybe I didn't look enough). Anyway, if you want a permanent installation that you can mount pedals, put pull out for service or replacement, this is the best I have found. The tape connects to itself, you don't have to worry about lining up the loop side or the hook side.
I play pedal steel and had to create a pedal board, (had to be thin to match up with the guitar pedals) to use for volume pedal, effects pedals, and dual channel direct box, and obtain a comfortable, easy to use arraignment, yet the majority of connections are permanent, making for a quick set up.
