The Cadillac of tremolos!
Housed in a rugged yet portable steel chassis, the VT-X is built for a lifetime of use. A single, shockmounted 12AX7WA draws from the included 12V DC power adapter, eliminating hum and grounding problems. Silent switching also makes it ideal for studio or live use. Where it shines is in its tone—warm, thick, throbbing tremolo that solid-state circuits just can't match.
Order today and turn onto to the tone.

I don't understand why everybody's giving this rave reviews for "features." No waveshaping features of any sort. Sounds fine but overpriced for what you get. Check out the Catalinbread Semaphore.
Thick tremolo tone! Gets better when the tube heats up! The tone knob is great.. Sounds better than my original 65 super reverbs trem. Made in Japan, high quality stuff!
this is a pedal mixed with vintage and mordern sound...
not only does this pedal give a sickly warm vintage tremolo sound, but if you bypass the effect itself and just let the tube cook, it sounds amazing.
its a great pedal.. warm tones.. great vintage sound
This pedal gives off a great tremolo effect. However, for a pedal that costs $179, this thing should have been super quiet! Not so, especially with its SH-SH-SH-SH-SH sound that varies with the speed setting after the guitar signal dies out. This tremolo effect also "died" momentarily on me for about 10 seconds even while its indicator light still glowed red! Go figure, I can't! To sum it up, an over-priced piece of junk!
Totally freaking awesome Tremolo. WELL worth the money and blows boss absolutely out of the water. Talk about a meaty trem that jumps up enough you can actually hear it...this is it. Worth the $.
This tremolo pedal has a good vintage tube driven Fender-like sound. However, as soon as the signal dies out it (mine) was replaced with that ever present tick-tick-tick/sh-sh-sh sound that plagues most trem pedals. For this thing to cost as much as it did it should have been super quiet! It was immediatly returned to Musician's Friend.
