I bought this amp and at first I thought it was a just a nu-metal amp. Then I experimented with an eq pedal and the gain and now I've got a very Petrucciesque distortion. One thing that I miss is a reverb knob but you can just buy a pedal for that.
This is a great amp, 2 awesome channels, built solid, no noise awesome celestion speaker, 100 watts, EF loop, speaker cab out, & good looks. The Warp channel is heavy and has a great tone with pounding lows and crisp highs. Awesome crunch with plenty of gain. The mids are alright, but everyone scoops them anyway. I use an LTg EC100 with Metal Livewire at the brigde and classic at the neck and suggest using it with pickups that have an increased mid output like Duncan Distortion or Metal Livewire for increased harmonics. It even sounded good with my Les Paul Pro equiped with P90s. The Clean channel is crisp and solid. Doesn't breakup at high volumes, it really brings out the true tone of your guitar. You will not be disappointed with this amp, it's a true rock amp.
