very happy with the tbx65!. i use a Ibanez s320, strat deluxe, and studio les paul -Ibanez acoustic 6 and 12 string-exotic Ibanez classical. all of these guitars play perfectly as they wee meant to sound!. crisp clear bright highs with great midrange and good solid bottom end. the metals can emulate most heavy rock bands eg.metallicathe acoustic sounds as good as your guitar you own and as well as you play.plays very clean-loud..and very crisp with the volume down. i teach my kids using an mp3 plugged in and play along. matches most any sound ive heard. you cant beat the quality and durability..this thing is a rock.move over all you over priced big names like marshall, fender, crate, peavey and vox there is a new kid in town -taking over where you couldnt deliver. my next amp is the tbx 100.!!!the only problem is..IBANEZ makes an AMP?????you bet they do. the neighbourhood teenage kids keep bring me playlists and telling me how it sounds just like the real thing..lolgreat value. easy to use.

I bought one of these when I was far less experienced. I needed something of gig size and this was what was in my price range. If you play a lot of clean channel, look elsewhere because the tone is lousy and there is limited headroom before the most terrible simulation of light breakup I've ever heard kicks in. The distortion channel does have a rather versatile range of sounds and enough volume for SMALL clubs, but they all have a healthy smattering of cheap transistor tone. Sufficient for punk, metal, or anything that doesn't rely on tone and rarely turns off the distortion. Mine is now nothing more than a big overpriced practice amp.

Comments about Ibanez TBX65R Guitar Combo Amp:
this is the second amp i've bought and i like it. i brought it up to IMC for my garage band session. when i was shopping for this amp, i was pretty much against anything ibanez due to a bunch of indie kids raving about them, but after comparing this to a fender of the same wattage and higher price, i had to go with the ibanez. i person who was with me when trying these out (who knows NOTHING about guitars/amps) noticed cleaner cleans, and a better distortion then the fender mentioned above. it serves it's purpose, and makes a great amp for practice and some small gigs, but i would use caution when doing anything other than that with it. i was hoping it would have a foot switch with it but that might just be a store thing.
Comments about Ibanez TBX65R Guitar Combo Amp:
This was my second amplifier. It has good backup guitar sound, but the lead guitar isn't very good. The clean channel with a lot of bass sounds like a bass and will regulate your heartbeat. The treble clean sound is beautiful. The reverb is excellent. Overall, a good amp.
Comments about Ibanez TBX65R Guitar Combo Amp:
So, i've had my TBX for nearly three months. I've always had a really strange thing happen while using the clean: it crackels when i play some lows and highs together. I'm usually just looking to have a chord, but then it crackles. I also just recently used a distortion pedal because i needed something lighter, while still staying loud. The amp now twangs, and seems very broken, but is only at 12 on the volume. Strange, but I don't think that volume is the case. Plus, the spring reverb is kidna weak.
Comments about Ibanez TBX65R Guitar Combo Amp:
The first time I used this amp I fell in love with it. The clean sounds so beautiful and the distortion sounds great for almost any type of music you want to play. This am is pretty loud too, for 65w. It may look small but it gives out a good blast. And for the price you cant beat it, I recomend this amp to anyone whos looking for an amp thats not to pricey but delivers the quality just like the any real expensive amp would.
Comments about Ibanez TBX65R Guitar Combo Amp:
This amp kills when it comes to playing with distortion on. My friend bot this amp about two months ago and it real plays very well. It has clear sound and the distortion can get up to like slayer or metallica kinda stuff. If you like to play metal music this is by far a great amp to get.
Comments about Ibanez TBX65R Guitar Combo Amp:
This amp is a very good amp if you really like play metal music. The distortion can get very hard core and this amp has very clear sound. I love this amp because I play all sorts of metal music and it meets my standards by far and I like to play hard.

Comments about Ibanez TBX65R Guitar Combo Amp:
This amp is the best solid state that I have ever played. The clean is very nice and the distorted channel gets more distorted then anyone would ever need (and I play super heavy Death Metal and Grindcore) even befor going into "X" mode. Very good all around amp. And very cheap for how powerful it is.
