Comments about Jacques FA2 Fat Burner Compressor:
The folks at Jacques Pedals have it going on! I've tried dozens of compressor/sustainer pedals over the years from some of the biggest names in the business, but I could never really find the right one. Well, here it is. I found it easy to dial in and it really does improve my tone. I leave it on constantly because it does such a great job of evening out amplitude levels across my notes. But I think what really sets this pedal apart is its ability to sustain, which is nothing short of spectacular. Combine this bad boy with a quality Les Paul and you'll have sustain for days. The boost output is really pretty cool, too. They advertise it as a "compressed clean boost that will give your amp more headroom and make it seem like it has 50% more power". I'd have to say they're right. It opens up an amp and definitely makes it sound louder. It can also function as a signal splitter so you can run two amps, and it even has a headphone jack for silent practicing! C'mon, what more do you want in a compressor pedal?
