The Princeton Technology datasheet for the PT2399:
"PT2399 is an echo audio processor IC utilizing CMOS technology which is equipped with ADC and DAC, high sampling frequency, and an internal memory of 44K. Digital processing is used to generate the delay time . . ."

PT2399-based delays are digital delays, not analog delays. That said, they sound great and lots of people can't tell they aren't analog just from the sound -- but they shouldn't be advertised as analog delays.

Started to return before realizing over 20% cost to return. Opened up and found cold solders everywhere and low quality components.

Given cold solders and components actually glad I bought pedal before ordering Jet city head. Can't trust QC of one and not other.

Comments about Jet City Amplification The Flood Analog Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

I bought this on the SDOTD for really cheap, and I'm shocked at how much I like this pedal. The chassis is sturdy, quality steel. The controls are sensibly responsive, and the sound quality is great. I'm not a fan of jet city amps (i've returned two that I bought), but I have to say that this pedal is great. I'm actually considering replacing my (cost of current delay pedal prohibited by MF cuz they sux) delay pedal with this one on my board. Can't say enough good things about it.

Comments about Jet City Amplification The Flood Analog Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

We are a working, touring band. We play a lot of shows. Our lead needed a new delay and I just so happened across an email that this was on sale. Took the chance and boom super fast delivery outstanding sound quality and durability. I'm glad I pulled the trigger. It is a most useful tool in his arsenal of effects. Thanks.

Comments about Jet City Amplification The Flood Analog Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

I wanted to like this pedal because the sounds are , overall, pretty good. But the LOUD POP it makes when you step on the pedal to activate the delay completely ruins it. Also, you have to stomp really hard on the switch to get it to turn on. If you don't stomp it hard enough the light comes on as if the effect has been activated, but no sound comes out. These issues makes it unuseable for live performance.

Comments about Jet City Amplification The Flood Analog Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

I picked up The Flood on a stupid deal of the day. I had been looking for a delay pedal for some time and i decided to give this one a try. I'm playing a Schecter with EMG 81 & 85s through a Jet City Tube amp. I was very pleasantly surprised with how amazing this pedal is. No bells and whistles...just a simple delay. Easy to use, great tone and no trouble. Only one complaint...the toggle switch is very stiff. Its easy to press it but not activate the pedal. It's a bit stiffer than my MXR Micro chorus toggle.

I like to use it with a short delay time, about halfway on the repeats and level knobs. With this you get a nice tone that adds a lot of feeling and character. I love the spacey sound it gives with this sound...almost like a reverb. Of course, you can add much longer delay time if you want to use it as more of a "delay". I am planning on keeping this as a permanent part of my pedal board.

I got this pedal on one of the Daily Deals and I love it! So simple to use and priced right! I've had so many much more expensive delay units and this one is the one I'm keeping! I don't need super long delays or tap tempo so I am happy with it.
