Koch cabinets are equipped with the best available hardware: thick, quality vinyl; nickel plated corners and amp strips and screws, metal bar handles, removable castors and rubber stack feet.
Wood: After exhausting research, tests showed that the materials used for the shell and baffle is a very important factor in the overall sound quality of a cabinet. For that reason, the speaker cab shell is made from the best quality 11-layer Birch Plywood constructed with wood-to-wood joints, while the baffles are made of vibration-free MDF. This combination produces a tight low end with colorful mids and smooth highs, exactly right for guitar sound reproduction.

Koch Speaker: Not only the amp design but also the speakers used are an essential part of the total sound experience. In co-operation with the Jensen factory, Koch develops their own speakers. The VG12-90, used in the enclosure is already known for his sweet tone, bell-like highs and astounding bass response. At low and also at high volume levels the VG12-90 excels in all music styles.

Extremely well built, great sounding, sturdy, and it has the correct speaker configuration for wide dispersion. Good Idea. The price is high, but it will last for decades. German engineering isn't cheap. This is the "Mercedes coop" of guitar cabs.
