As a solo acoustic player, I am very impressed with the sound quality of this rig both for vocal, and acoustic guitar. The heavy 12-inch speaker delivers good richness & tone. It's also a very nice looking amp. I think I tried just about every combo acoustic amp out there under a grand. As far as the combined sound qualty, nothing was better. My only complaint is the soundboard output is unbalanced. And though the effects can be turned on & off for each channel...the level for each channel can not be controlled. There's only a master. Further more, the effects can not be independently applied meaning you have to use the same effect across both channels should you decide to use it. I have both a mic pre-amp, and a guitar processor...so the effects thing is a non issue for me. Plus I find just a touch of effect number 7 across both channels does pretty good in a pinch.

I own this amp for 5 years now and had to put a new handle on it. patched rips in the cover. and jumpered the speaker out jack to keep the 12 speaker working with cabinet. I love the amps tone and functions its worked well with either piezo or miced guitars and the 12 in speaker has given the warmth in many a venue.I use a tilt back stand to project the sound up to my ears and away from my knees.

Easy Amplification

Comments about Kustom Sienna 65 65w 1x12 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

From beginner to experienced musician - this amp is a must have for singer/guitar player. Heck, since the XLR mic output also features phantom power, my bluegrass combo plays through it while standing around a condenser mic at small venues and it's never let us down. It's versatility often saves us the backaches of lugging around a PA. So many options in one amplifier that it's a great value. I'll admit that I never was a fan of Kustom equipment, but they certainly got it right with this amp.The downside is that the handle broke within months, but I break handles on Fender amps too - just replaced it with my patented nylon strap handle and viola!, better than new. Also, the tone and effects can be digital sounding at times as it is a soild-state unit. But I'm pretty picky when it comes to tone, and I find its sound enjoyable and fun more often than not. A great buy!

Comments about Kustom Sienna 65 65w 1x12 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

The longer I own this amp, the more I fall in love with it.
I just wished it had a little more power and volume.
Anti-feedback filter works very good. Reverb sounds nice.
A midrange control for the insrtument channel would have been nice to have. The mic channel has one.
MOSFET amps are very durable and great sounding!
Kustom ,keep making amps with MOSFET transistors, there is a noticable difference.
This amp has nice bass and treble response. Nice looks too.
This is a very good amp at a very good price.

A FINE little gig amp

Comments about Kustom Sienna 65 65w 1x12 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I'm very pleased to write a review of this little beast.... This is one of the best equipment purchases I've ever made - I sing & play an Alvarez/Yairi or Larrivee, both with Fishman Matrix pick-ups, through this amp for local gigs, either solo, acoustic duo, trio, or electric 4-piece band. After playing Fender, Marshall & Fishman acoustic amps in my local store, I wasn't happy with the fact that they ALL had 8" speakers, which sounded OK for guitar, but not for voice... I took a chance & bought this sight-unseen, because of the 12" speaker - Started gigging with it immediately. The ONLY thing I could say negatively is, the Mic channel doesn't have nearly the huge amount of gain that the instrument channel has - If I'm at all concerned, I'll bring my little Behringer mixer to control the whole mix, but mostly, I just plug straight-in & get an incredible thick & clear vocal & guitar sound, at amazingly loud volume levels - For instance, last night I played a hi-end outdoor 3 hour solo gig to 300 people, with the ocean waves crashing 30 feet away - This amp sounded spectacular, I've used it for probably 30 gigs in the last year, with ZERO problems. It's got a nice warm reverb & pushes out a big sound for most situations. I HAVE pushed it to the limit, with a Variax 12-string sound in VERY loud rock-band situations, but it's been a reliable great-sounding workhorse for me, I've made thousands of dollars with this amp, plus, it's just a beautiful looking amp. ( The tolex in the photo is much more odd-looking than in real-life ) - People ask me if it's a 50 year-old amp. They laugh when I tell them it's brand new... It looks vintage, especially now that it's gig-worn a bit. I DID replace the handle, though. The nice-looking leather handle just didn't hold up to repeated gigs - No complaints though, considering the many other positives about this great little amp - The size is perfect, it's as heavy as it should be... Just buy it, you won't be sorry.

Comments about Kustom Sienna 65 65w 1x12 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I am a big fan of this amp. It has great features and it really sounds just awesome. My guitart doesn't sound any better than when plugged into this baby (I use an LR Baggs M-1 and get an amazing tone.) Also: vocals are very strong and can get quite loud, with nice presence. Effects sound natural, not at all hollow or digital like many I've hear. What I don't like: the handle is flimsy (I hear they can break) so I don't trust to carry by the handle. Also: wish I could set the effect amount of effect separate for each channel rather than just on/off for each channel. Overall though, an awesome buy.

Comments about Kustom Sienna 65 65w 1x12 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

If you are looking for an inexpensive way to bypass the whole acoustic amp/P.A. setup, look no further. If you're a singer songwriter, this amp will more than fulfill your needs. I've had mine for two years now, and in that time have found that it more than measures up to it's claims, my acoustics sound crisp and clean, electrics even take on a different quality. The mic channel is an added plus when practicing with my band I've had no problem being heard and have never gone over 4 on the master volume. If you are looking for a p.a./amp combo that won't let you down and has too many great features to mention, buy this amp.

A Steal #3

Comments about Kustom Sienna 65 65w 1x12 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I purchased this amp as a back-up amp but has taken the place of my work amp which is nine times the price of the Sienna 65! I'm not kidding! The 12" speaker and the electronics along with the minimal weight at the price in my opinion...was a steal! The only drawback for me is the placement of the control panel as I have always preferred it up front but not a critical issue. When making my amp purchase, I also purchased two KPC15 and two KPCM15 which should tell you...I am pleased with Kustom's quality. Word of advice: Don't let "Made in China" dissuade you from your purchase. If you have a question pertaining to a Kustom product...you'll receive a fast, friendly and professional response.

great amp for me.. i like the way it sounds for the most part, as long as you keep it down to a point. if its too loud than it gets a bit sketch . over all great though... oh yea, the little round disks on the control nobs will probrably be somewhere in the box, not on the control nobs

Comments about Kustom Sienna 65 65w 1x12 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I was in the market for a new acoustic amp for some small shows. I have been researching for about 1 year. I had settled on Fender (come on.. fenders rule!) but I was looking for something that would support vocals too (pa is too much to lug around to coffee shops). The Fender sounded great, but I wasn't sold on 2 8" speakers. I wanted something with more depth. I have played on an old Trace Elliot with 2 8" Celestions for years now. IRight before I bought the Fender, I stumbled upon this one. So, my research started again. I could not find one at a local dealer to try, so I bought it blind. When I recieved it, I was a little disappointed since 4 of the silver discs on the control knobs had fallen off (and the box was still factory sealed), but that was just cosmetic. After gluing them back into place, I fired it up. Not a bad sound right away. The test was in a live situation. Well, I just returned for a 2 hour show in a coffee shop with akeyboardist.. and I have to say this amp is AWESOME! It was clean and projected well! I didn't used all the effects, but I have played with them, and there is a lot of potential there. The 12" speaker and tweeter, perform great. If you have any doubts, trust me.. this amp is worth it. Kudos to Kustom for making such a great acoustic amp! And really affordable too!

Watch The Handle

By Chickie

from Carbondale, Pa.

Comments about Kustom Sienna 65 65w 1x12 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

Overall a great little amp that holds its own against other amps costing much more. On a sour note however, while carrying it to a show the handle snapped off on one side causing the amp to drop hard onto the floor. Other than a little cosmetic damage the amp survived the drop just fine. But upon inspection I found it hard to believe that the handle was held in place by just two little machine head screws just 1/4" x 1".Other than that this is a great little amp well worth the price, just don't trust the handle.

Comments about Kustom Sienna 65 65w 1x12 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I've had this amp almost 6 months and it hasn't let me down once! Great control, effects, tone! I play mostly at home and at churches, so it has plenty of power for both! It weighs 50lbs. so taking it from show to show isn't that bad. Has a XLR input so if you want to sing along with your playing it's great for that as well! All the effect channels are great! Overall great amp for the money! I highly recommend the purchase!

Comments about Kustom Sienna 65 65w 1x12 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I tried this at a local music store. Any electric acoustic guitar I put through it sounded amzing! It made a $300 starter acoustic sound exspensive. I was impessed with the effects wich made this amp sound Huge! Full rich sound. It also has an XLR for your mic. My 12 year old daughter has the AS50D marshall acoustic amp, that doesn't have half the effects that this does. and I'd put this up against it. I highly recomend at least checking it out!
