Comments about Kustom The Defender V100 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp:
This thing is a bunch of cheap components slapped together in [*] The flimsy plastic knobs fall right off, and are not covered under warranty. It is not a good deal unless you just need a bland-looking cabinet with two [*]Celestion Vintage 30s.

Comments about Kustom The Defender V100 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp:
This amp has amazing tone! It is plenty loud and breaks up really nice. I don't use any distortion so I really can't comment on the lead/distortion channel. It looks great and sounds great. The tremolo and reverb that's built in sounds great. I have nothing bad to say about this amp. I gig regularly with it.

Comments about Kustom The Defender V100 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp:
Let me start by saying that I currently own an origanal Hughes & Kettner Alex Lifeson Head (#170) and matching cab. I recntly bought an original Marshall Vintage Modern 100 watt head in Purple tolex and was looking for a 2-12 cab with Celestion Vintage 30's in it when I came across this amp on Musicians Friend being clearanced for [$], I thought, dang, you can't even buy two Vintage 30 speakers by themselves for [$], so I figured, what the heck I could always plug the Vintage Modern into it and use it as a speaker cab.Much to my surprise though, the amp sounded Awesome !! James Brown really knew what he was doing when he designed this one !!I've had it 2 weeks now and have yet to plug the Vintage Modern into it !! I can get all the Marshall Tones out of it Plus the Cleans with the spring reverb, Tremelo, and Vibrato are Phenominal !!I've a,b,and c-ed all 3 amps, and this one can definitely hang with the big boy's !! I will definitely be keeping this with all my other "High End" Gear !! Huge Score with this one!!! Thank's Musicians Friend !

Comments about Kustom The Defender V100 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp:
I don't know how lucky I was when they clearenced this but I tried to get a 1X12 V50 but was unsuccessful as it was cancelled 2 days later. But I got the V100 and the Celestion Vintage 30's are amazing. 100 watts seems crazy but it can drive the two twelves and make them sound great even at 1.5 to 2 and you can tear anything down at 5. Really happy. I got turned on to the 5watt defender and a Kustom 12 single cab and loved it for about a hundred fifty combined. When this was only double that and I got real spring reverb, tremolo/vibrato and incredible rhythm and lead channels. It came with a 3 button footswitch. This was the tightest deal I've ever gotten from Musician's Friend and I've gotten plenty. But nothing has made me happier for the bang for the buck. I love it. Pull a brightness knob and your a country hero push it you're a rock star. This thing is a beast. I wish I could have just thought this one through and got two!
Comments about Kustom The Defender V100 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp:
I'd like to say, I own a Kustom Defender 112 and I was kinda happy with it. My chain was a Boss tu-2, into a Boss ns-2, to a Crybaby 535Q, to a Rotovibe, into an Ibanez ts-9. It worked for a while then I installed a Celestion v30. It was better. I then put 6l6 tubes in it and it was a little better. It still lacked the extra oomph. I got turned on to the v100 after I called Kustom asking about the '72 coupe, the rep asked me what kind of music I played and he said that the v100 was better cuz it had more usable gain. He was right! I would not trade this amp for the world! Nuff said.
