Puts you in control of your tone!
The Laney TT50-112 is a 50-watt combo tube amplifier for your guitar that features a completely redesigned pre-amp. Three channels—Clean, Crunch, and Lead—each feature independent 3-band EQ, volume, bright switch, and reverb. The 2 gain channels feature a Modern switch which gives you super smooth response while the Lead channel features an additional Xpand and boost switch. Xpand breathes life back into your tone at high gain. The power section features two independent footswitchable master volumes, allowing you to give yourself a boost whatever channel you are on, great for the clean lead breaks.
All footswitchable features are fully MIDI switchable and each amp is equipped with MIDI in, MIDI thru, and MIDI out seven-pin connections which support phantom power. The onboard MIDI can be used to switch external MIDI devices via the dedicated FS6 footswitch.

now this is what i was looking for, a perfect one for performing onstage in these island events
I love this amp. The only thing that kept me from giving it a perfect 5 rating is that it's rather expensive for it's class. That being said, it's worth every penny. Oh this amp sounds so great. This amp sounds sweet at low volumes, but get it up around 10-11 o'clock and you're going to be really impressed. Such a clean British crunch that makes Marshall sound like a muddy mess. I love to play this amp, and it inspries me every time I crank it on.After recording several tracks, I came to love this amp more and more. I give a lot of praise to Laney because they can certainly build a great amp. The clean channel is superb. It's not Fender clean, but a great clean on it's own. It won't muddy up no matter what you try. The gain channels are amazing. There are a lot of features to this amp and you're guaranteed to get great tone.Anyone who says something negative about this amp needs to go to amp school. Great amp. Buy ita and blow away all those expensive Marshall players.
Ok, so this amp is a bit pricy. The thing is that you have to consider what you're getting for your money. Laney amps have a quality that far surpasses Marshall in my opinion. After having owned Marshall DSL401, DSL 100, and JVM amps, I can honestly say that this amp wins in quality. If you want to buy those cheap Mexican-made Fender amps, go right ahead, but you will be missing out on something awesome.Tonewise this amp is like a more articulate Marshall, and much better sounding than Vox amps. There are three channels with independent EQs and plenty of modern features. The first gain channel, the crunch channel, is my favorite. I can get anything from Texas blues tone to Iron Maiden. The third gain channel is rich with tonal options and takes you into Metallica and Lamb Of God territory if you want. At low drive levels, you can get a superb squawky blues tone to die for.The cleans on this amp are immaculate. It rivals the best Fender has to offer. It's a lush clean tone with just enough jangle and chime.I don't have enough space to write about all the other features this amp has to offer. I can only tell you that anyone who buys this amp won't be disappointed. It's world-class and worth every penny. If you get one, crank it and play it on the crunch channel. You will be amazed and in love.
