OVERVIEW

The Lehle Little Dual amp switcher pedal routes your signal via gold-plated relays to Outputs A or B. Outputs A and B can feed 2 different amps simultaneously, since the signal paths are electrically isolated by the Lehle LTHZ high end transformer - completely eliminating hum loops. Both inputs can be routed in stereo to Outputs A and B. In addition, the Little Dual guitar pedal also incorporates gold-plated phase-reverse and ground lift switches.

Gold plated switches and no ground loops.

Comments about Lehle Little Dual Amp Switcher Guitar Pedal:

Well, I think this is the second time I have written a review of musical equipment, but I had to say something about the lehle little dual. I have many many decades of performing on stage in pop/rock bands, and I have used a lot of brands of equipment through the years. I have always gone for top rated stuff, I would rather pay up front than have to buy a 2nd time. In the distant pass when I started, quality equipment what it was built to do, and would last a lifetime, if you took care of it. I guess sadly that is not the case anymore.
Trying to make a good decision, after recently being burned with a extremely over priced tube drive, I read and read all over the web, wading through guitar chat sites only to find someone at each site who would endorse every conceiveable brand of switcher. Lehle, was I must say ,held in somewhat of a higher regard than most, I called, so called experts at all the well know web based musical equipment sites and found the experts did not know what I was talking about when asking for a ABY or they snapped out a brand with no info to back up their recommendations. I talked with Lehle and they were helpful but of course they are in business to sell switchers. I was also looking at the newer fulltone true path, but I already have a fulltone ocd and was not blown away with it. So I went with the highest priced aby, the Lehle, the king of them all so I could avoid any problems.
I have had the little dual for a couple of days now, which is not alot of time but so for there are issues. The switcher does make small clicks when changing some of the time. The foot switches take a fair amount of force to make them work, not alot of force to press, but alot to achieve the switch. Sometimes you think you've switched when you have not. There is some bleed from A side to B side, not alot. It's built well and no signal loss, but for the price you would expect a flawless operation. Little dual is the only aby I have used, so still looking.

Comments about Lehle Little Dual Amp Switcher Guitar Pedal:

I previously had the Lehle Dual SGoS which was a better unit and switched quietly but it was too big for my pedalboard. I gave the Little Dual a try and the switching noise made it useless for my application. This is not to say it won't work in every situation but it popped when switching with 4 of my 5 tube amps.

Comments about Lehle Little Dual Amp Switcher Guitar Pedal:

This switcher is perfect for hands-free selection of piezo/electric hybrid guitar signal. It has the added bonus of transformer isolation, which eliminates the buzz from tying your amp and PA together electrically. This also balances the piezo signal, so if you add a TRS-XLR adapter to the piezo channel out, you won't need a direct box. The sound is transparent, and the only minor gripe is if the LEDs are powered by an adapter, you can hear a slight click when you switch. I'm sure it would be great for amp switching as well.
