OVERVIEW

The new gold standard for innovation and versatility in an amp.

The Line 6 AMPLIFi 75 is unlike any amplifier you've ever played. It features 75W through a revolutionary 5-speaker stereo design that delivers powerful, detailed tones that other amps simply can't produce. As a Bluetooth stereo speaker system, AMPLIFi 75 is perfect for jamming at full volume, playing back songs at rehearsals and hearing every detail of your favorite songs (now compatible with Android devices).

Stereo Bluetooth Speaker System
Wirelessly stream tracks from any Bluetooth-enabled device directly to AMPLIFi. The built-in full-range speakers sound incredible and provide plenty of volume, while the custom guitar speaker serves as a subwoofer. Jam along with tracks. Play back songs during band rehearsal. Turn up the volume at parties. No cables. No hassle. It's the ultimate Bluetooth speaker system for guitarists.

iOS or Android App and Cloud Connection
The AMPLIFi Remote app introduces a whole new world of possibilities. Dial in every aspect of your amp and effect tones wirelessly. Connect to the cloud and share guitar tones with an online community of musicians. There's an endless variety of tones waiting for you to browse, rate and store. And revolutionary tone matching technology automatically serves up guitar tones that match tracks in your music library. Jamming will never be the same.

All the Power You Need
Ever feel like your guitar amp just can't keep up? With AMPLIFi, that'll never be a problem. With 75 watts, you can be sure your guitar tone will cut through loud and clear. In your garage, bedroom or rehearsal space, AMPLIFi has the power you need to rattle the windows.

Loaded with DSP
AMPLIFi puts the Line 6 guitar tones behind hundreds of hit records at your fingertips. Create your own combination of pedals, effects processors, guitar amp and cabinet models using the AMPLIFi Remote iOS or Android app, then store them as presets-in the cloud, locally or on the amp for instant access. And with a massive worldwide community of guitarists sharing their tones, you're sure to find the sound you've been searching for. AMPLIFi offers access to just about any guitar amp and effects chain you can imagine.

Innovative 5-Speaker Stereo Design
You've never heard a guitar amp sound this wide and spacious. AMPLIFi is loaded with five speakers that deliver the full sonic spectrum in a unique wet/dry configuration. By amplifying the dry and effects portions of your tone independently, AMPLIFi transmits every aspect of your guitar tone in stunning detail-from crystal-clear highs to deep and smooth low end. What sets this item apart, assuming you have an IOS device with some good music on it, is the Amplifi 75's ability to find tones that match what song you are playing. It does this automatically. Whether you play along with the song or not, you can save that tone under "my tones" and have it at your disposal for future use. I found some incredible acoustic guitar tones as well as a very nice "sounds like the Beatles" tone. This feat alone is remarkable. Throw in the sound editor that allows you to create your own or tweak someone else's tones and you begin to realize what Line 6 has accomplished. Ground breaking isn't too strong a phrase here. Sound quality when playing my IPAD music is excellent.
Having read multiple mixed reviews I was a bit torn as to whether to purchase or not. I can say my expectations have been exceeded. One word of caution when using. Make sure that you reboot, cold start your IPAD OR IPHONE to clear out software running in the background. And check to make sure on the AMPLIFI menu that you are "connected" as opposed to "synching". If you are not connected, the sounds on your IPAD or IPHONE will not be heard, only the default sounds that are on the amp itself....btw....these default sounds can be set to your favorites very easily as pointed out in the instructions.
In summary, if you were thinking about purchasing one of the new Amplifi amps (75 or 150) you needn't worry. You'll likely be blown away by this clever amplification system. Hats off to Line 6 for taking it to another level.

I was very excited about buying this amp. It has plenty of options via the free iOS app. As a Bluetooth speaker it sounds amazing! The 5-speaker system has thumping bass and crystal clear treble. Unfortunately this same sound qualiy does not apply to the guitar tone. Finding the best EQ for my guitar is tricky - I still don't feel like I've found the that sweet spot like I did (much more easily) with my Spider IV 30. Line 6 says your preamp goes out through the 8" "custom" speaker and the post amp effects go through the tweeters for a dry / wet mix. Yes I can hear my effects but they are not crystal clear as I expected. Half the time it sounds like my guitar sound is coming out through a cardboard box.

Having said all that, I am not a gear snob, and a I'm a beginner when it comes to signal chains and tone control. I'm more of the set it and forget it type - once I find a tone I like I set it and control mostly from the guitar. So for me it's like a kid in a candy store playing with all of the possibilities. I really like being able to stream and play at the same time. I play in church and I can rehearse with the songs at home. I also like the app because it has so many ways to shape the tone (I never had any of the Pods or HDs so that's new for me). The app does have some annoying bugs and hopefully Line 6 will continue to improve this interface as it is practically the only way you can control the amp (the on board controls don't really do anything).

Comments about Line 6 AMPLIFi 75 75W Modeling Guitar Amp:

Ok, I have to give 1 star because apparently I cannot give 0 stars. Maybe I got a dud? Sounded like a really cool practice amp when I read the description and featrues. I like playing along with songs I have in my music library but I had been using a Bose bluetooth speaker to play the songs while I play guitar through my regular amp. I thought with the Amplifi I could eliminate the Bose speaker and I was excited to hear the beautiful sound of the 5 speaker system. Not only that, the Amplifi would match the tone on the songs I play without me having to adjust any settings! Well, I wasn't able to do any of that! I contacted Line 6 support and it took them 3-4 days to respond. They told me I needed to update firmware and download software. I must have spent 2-3 hours trying to update and download and still nothing works right. Their downloads don't even work right and they know it because when the download doesn't work they tell you to download a fix, which also does not work. I went back and forth with support for several days. Then they told me I need to clear out the bluetooth memory and then try updating and downloading everything again. I gave up! Way too much trouble! I can't tone match and I can't even access the 25 banks of preset themes. What I have in this Amplifi is a really bad sounding amp that doesn't do anything they say it does. I also bought their foot pedal to go with the Amplifi but both items are going in the trash. It would be way too cruel for me to give this to someone. LIne 6 never resolved any of my issues but for some reason they think I am a happy customer. I decided to stick with my Blackstar ID Core amp which sounds so much better than the Amplifi and is super easy to use. The Blackstar ID Core has superwide stereo which sounds great!

Comments about Line 6 AMPLIFi 75 75W Modeling Guitar Amp:

Great product. Does just what I ordered it for. It mostly sits in my family room where I can jam quietly while watching TV waiting for that Eureka moment. Great that it doubles as a bluetooth speaker (wish there was separate EQ for the bluetooth), and you can use it that way at the same time through the app as you are playing your guitar sounds. Sometimes when I leave to jam with friends and don't feel like grabbing a tube amp and big pedal board, I just take this. Works fine in a practice situation.Might even work in a small club if you spend enough time tweaking sounds. What works well at really low volumes in the family room is often too echoey or processed once the volume goes up. Not the Amplifi's fault. Just basic acoustic physics.

My gripes are few and minor. Saving your edits to back to the amp is really convoluted. Why isn't there a save button on the edit screen that just saves the patch to the current slot on the amp? The save dialog should ask you 'save to amp or save to cloud?' (there's a cloud icon for saving now, but it won't save directly to the amp). Also, I wish there was polyphonic tuning built in to the amp. The tuner function requires a phone/tablet and seems a bit slow and not as accurate as some of my standalone tuners.
A row of leds across the front of the amp would be great. Also, separate sliders for the aux, bluetooth and guitar volumes would be nice.

Anyway, I would buy it again.

Comments about Line 6 AMPLIFi 75 75W Modeling Guitar Amp:

Those of us who have been around for a long time realize that Line 6 just won't let this idea go. It's basically a Pod XT with an amp and speaker that has an android/IOS app. So instead of using a PC to edit you can use bluetooth with a smart device. But like I said, those of us whove been around know it's the same Line 6 idea with Bluetooth. Not that it sounds bad, but it's their same amp emulation they've had for a million years packaged a new way. As usual it sounds good but don't expect real tube dynamics or real world effect response from emulation. If you've played a pod with a solid state power amp you've heard what one of these sounds like.

I was skeptical at first. However, after playing with the amp, I've come to love it.

It was purchased as a gift, and I use it as a living room/bedroom music player/jam amp. It's perfect for its intended use.

The modeling sounds great, and I get a great clean clarity. This is one of the best solid-state amps I've ever own and worth the cost.

This is a great learning tool. This amp sounds really good and is very versatile. I recommend watching the Line 6 Videos on you tube to get great instruction on how to get the most out of this amp. I like using the blue tooth to jam with songs not available on rocksmith and also available on rocksmith.

Comments about Line 6 AMPLIFi 75 75W Modeling Guitar Amp:

I mostly play bass and some guitar. I only play for fun. I recently ordered the Amplifi 75 and the Roland cube 40. I also owned a Fender Mustang 2 40 watt which promptly was returned. I find that the Line 6 opens new doors for me in learning songs and practicing them. It allows me to play along with the same sound as the song. If I want to kick it up the Roland cube is the answer. The two compliment each other well. I looked at the Peavey Vypyr but felt that the Amplifi would be easier to work with since I am more accustomed to using an iPad app to generate sounds.

Comments about Line 6 AMPLIFi 75 75W Modeling Guitar Amp:

I've owned this amp since the day it became available. Purchased it solely as a bedroom amp, and it's perfect in that role. I can get a huge array of tones with minimal effort. I've loaded up my IPad and will think I'll play with a drum loop or jam track or two but end up playing along with some of my favorite songs. It's a great practice tool.

That said I wouldn't use the amplifi 75 for anything more than jamming with friends. It has some decent tones, but there is no warm tone to be had.

Without an iOS device good luck using this thing. I also feel the software can be bulky when it lists out songs to stream via Bluetooth or when looking at user presets.

It also feels kind of unfinished. I don't know why there is no storage on the device, or drum loops built in. I don't always want to use an iOS device and I'm crippled if I don't want to bother.

In summary, great for practice and small jams. I would not record with it though.
