Each knob lets you easily adjust the intensity of the chosen effect so you can get back to playing as quickly as possible.

Total Tone Flexibility
The easy-to-use front panel makes it a snap to find a stage-ready tone. Quickly and easily add some grit with the amp's Drive knob and some dimension (or dementia) with the wide variety of effects.

Need to shape your tone? Tweak the Bass, Mid, and Treble knobs just like you would on a vintage amplifier. When you choose an amp model, the Spider IV 15 EQ section behaves just like the EQ section of the modeled amplifier. I got this AMP for sale, Line 6 always had a name for their AMPS and POD effects so i decided to buy it. The shipping was pretty expensive to get it to my place. At first glance looked pretty good, all the extras where inside the AMP including the instruction's manual, so i had to dismantle the amp to take the strings, manual, etc. Other than that the AMP pretty simple to use, you don't want this for performing in a concert, gig, church or any place. It's just an amp to play in your bedroom to practice, learn how to play and learn songs from your fav bands and guitarists. I only recommend this for starter guitarist and for people who just want to do cover songs top post on youtube. The Crunch(overdrive) doesnt have a good sound, actually is horrible. The metal, insane once ware pretty good for both solo and riffs. I only use the reverb effect, the others, in my humble opinion, are useless. But the Metal,Insane and clean channels make up for it, and for all the stuff that comes with it pretty good for the price. Comes with a strap, picks, strings, winder, gig bag, tuner(bad quality) and a instructional DVD.

There are plenty of settings you can download at the Line 6 webpage, you just have to register your product there.

All of the people downgrading the product are just angry the product is not good for perfomances, which is never intended for that, I have no idea why would someone buy this to perform in a place, not good musicians for doing that.

The AMP is perfect if you are a novice guitarist or your buying it for someone who is going to start learning.

The amp is a toy. I wanted a small, inexpensive practice amp, but this one won't cut it. The gig bag isn't bad, and the strap is OK, too, although I'd have liked it a little wider. The fact that they include a cheap (albeit admirably compact) in-line tuner in the package must say something about their own opinion of the amp's built-in tuner. The built-in tuner will get you in the ballpark but definitely not on the money. The clean channel is OK when it will stay adjusted to full couter-clockwise, but an odd, bass-heavy distortion tends to creep in while you are playing. Rotating the gain knob and snapping it back to full counter-clockwise will restore a clean, if thin, sound for a while. The other channel sounds are interesting and can be fun but tend more toward extreme distortion. Nothing subtle there! It could be a blast for beginners because you don't have to crank up the distortion very much to get to the point where the notes that you are playing are irrelevant. Playing the guitar as an untuned percussion instrument can be a lot of fun. The most irritating thing about the amp is that the effects come on by themselves, while playing and not even being anywhere close to the amp (I don't have the pedal, which costs as much as I paid for the kit). Getting the effects to turn off again takes rotating the knobs colckwize and snapping them back to the off position several times, and "off" is still a temporary state. The controls all seem excessively twitchy. There is a split or crack on the top right corner of the case. I can't tell how deep it goes, but it doesn't seem to rattle. The edges of the top corners of the case are rounded off unevenly and the crack is on the side where the corner is less rounded. The plastic bumpers on the top are attached very solidly, and each one is crooked at a different angle. I would have returned it but I read the Musician's Friend return policy, and it seems that I'd have to pay for the return shipping and the free shipping that I got for delivery would be deducted from the refund, so it wouldn't be worth the effort. I will probably try it when I want some bizarre novelty effects on a track.

Comments about Line 6 Totally Amp'd Spider IV 15 Guitar Amp Starter Pack:

I've owned a lot of gear over the years, and these pass the test. easy to transport and plenty of clean volume if you need it. ( I gave it a 9 only because of the items included in the beginers pack being a bit odd, as I mentioned above.)
Really nice effects, preset save is cool as well as bulit in tuner. The "beginer pack". gives you another tuner (?go figure) gig bag is not just a nylon cheapy, but a kaces fabric bag with nice felt like liner. Just wish instead of another tuner or even the gig bag, they would have proved an amp cover!!!
This is my second one. I had purchased my first one (without the beginers pack) quite a while back and have had no problems at all. it's well built and looks it.I like it so much, I"ve decided to run in stereo out of my HD500 and these 2 little puppies will be just great for that.( Don't use the on board fx with this set-up, but in and emergency, they would be there)
Got both units on stupid deal so this was a great value. Even at normal pricing, these are well worth it

Comments about Line 6 Totally Amp'd Spider IV 15 Guitar Amp Starter Pack:

I've played through a Fender Princeton Chorus for the last 20 years but wanted a small practice amp so I decided to try this one because of the price and the features and because I know several Line6 players and I hear nothing but good things about them. Now my only regret is that I didn't buy the 30 watt version so I could retire the old Fender but this may become my main gigging amp anyway. I'm definitely going to try it at a few gigs. Huge sound from a small package.
Love the 4 amp models and the effects.
Built like a brick. Very solid construction. Great sound.
The amp alone is easily worth the price and the extras included just put it over the top. I would however, rather have a nice cover for the amp than the guitar gig bag.

I first wanted the VOX 20, but the sale was over. I needed an amp with reverb to make practicing more fun. I'm glad I got this one. It has enough effects without having too many. The gig bag was very nice and the combined extras are worth half the money I paid for it. If you want to step up from a plain amplifier without spending too much this is the one!

Most of the stuff that comes with the amp I already had and better quality. Wish now that I bought a fender amp
more settings then most need. Draw back is the FVB port ( on line 6 amp only and no 1/4 plug to use all the neat stuff you see in catalogs ) every item for line 6 FVP is over priced.
Works great but if I was making this amp I would thow away the shiney knobs with a little red BB size marker and put NUMBERS on then and make the background white so you don't need a flash light to change setting.
Not that great with NO 1/4 port and over priced add ons for the Fvb port. Price them first then see if I'm right.

Best Bang for your Bucks! I own a Vox AC30CC2X that smokes everything else out there in its range so getting this amp was more an attempt at getting something passable for portability to quick jam with friends and not for the stage and am blown away by what it does, sounds great and is light as a feather. Tone is superb for such an inexpensive "toy" amp. Get it, you will not be disappointed!

Great amp, terrible extras, good price!
I gave a 7 not because I didn't like the amp, but the extras sucks. The tuner doesn't work at all (by the way, why the need of a tuner, if the amp has a nice built-in tuner?), the extra strings I'm still trying to figure out the gauge size, the picks are crap, the strap is ok, the phone has low quality, the cable is ok.

The amp is really nice, has power enought to wake your neighbour, nice effects, clean tone's good, excellent to practice at home, light weight, mp3/iphone in, and for the price... Great value!
Excellent quality, has a lot of tones to choose, a solid amp!
A nice amp, with a lot of tones and effects.

They should sell only the amp and get a better price, because those extras stuff are garbage.

So i have the spider 3 15, spider 4 150 head/cab. i like the ability to use the pedal with the spider 4 series SOOO i picked this up to use with an fbv pedal.

The pedal makes it so much more fun to use. I enjoy this new little 15-watter so much more.

for the rest of the package... i don't really need any of it, but the strings and headphones will come in handy.

I got this for what i paid for the spider 3 15 by itself.

Musician's Friend is awesome ... the first amp i took delivery on had a constant buzz... so i called customer support, spoke to a really cool woman who helped me remedy the situation. They took care of return shipping and shipped out the new amp. The new one works perfectly.

            I'll shop with them again.

            C
The first one had a buzz, but M.F. replaced it... the new one works perfectly.

Comes with great effects built in, definitely add the FBV express for more flexibility.
            Construction is pretty solid.
Some of the extras aren't really good, but it is a starter pack. It's ok tho, the amp itself is a great deal.

How Line 6 can do this is incredible. Great practice amp, quite, NO buzz like a Fender and could easily be used live with a small combo.

Lost my old practice amp in a flood. Should I be thankful for the flood? This little baby proved to be a better practice and solid little amp with great features.

Comments about Line 6 Totally Amp'd Spider IV 15 Guitar Amp Starter Pack:

Overall, it's a really great deal.
I like the analog control of effects rather than the "on/off" style. Really pleased with the three band EQ, as I like to scoop the mids and this works well. Very easy to program the four channels. The four channels are far enough apart to be worth it. Have hooked up a FBV Express to it...great to have a volume/wah, foot tuner, and channel picker.
The quality seems okay. No issue.
Pretty amazing little gadget for a great price. Sounds good and is pretty loud. Strap and tuner went upstairs to her studio. I've kept the headphones and the nice hard picks. Probably won't use the strings or DVD, maybe cheap gift them out.
