Comments about Markbass Blackline Little Mark 250 250W Bass Amp Head:

Can't say enough good things about this little workhorse. I read all the reviews, compared it to just about everything out there (played through a ton of amps) in the same power/price range, and just couldn't find anything I liked better. It is simple to use and sounds awesome. You can easily dial up your sound and get a nice, warm, fat, presence, instantly, using the VLE and VPF knobs. Have already used it regularly in a live band setting into an 8 ohm cabinet and it gets the job done with room to spare. If you are really rocking out, you may consider something with more wattage, but this thing really delivers in a typical band setting in a small to medium sized venue. I travel light anyway and leave it up to the sound guy to lug his back breaking setup for a large venue, and simply DI me through it. The only thing I wish the 250 had was a small mute switch button with LED for low lighting stage applications, but this is not a big deal to me. There are alternative ways to mute if needed via cables, etc.. Having never owned Markbass gear, I cannot vouch for long range durability, but will say I love the 2 yr standard warranty. Overall I am extremely pleased and would highly recommend this item.

Own a little mark 11...love it.
Wanted another amp to leave at the weekend cottage.(not be dragging gear back & forth)
Lil Mark 250 black line is perfect. Same great tone as lil Mar 11.. with 1/2 the power at 1/2 the price.
Sounds Great... would recommend if you need a second amp for practise or small gigs.

Comments about Markbass Blackline Little Mark 250 250W Bass Amp Head:

Tone is typical no real difference from the LMIII. When driven hard distortion is very noticeable. Would not recomend for anything other than the smallest venues with front of house reinforcement. It distorts at 1/2 power. Thats with a 9 volt preamp on a wick
. My Pbass had a little more room, not much. Great tone though. Very versatile.

Comments about Markbass Blackline Little Mark 250 250W Bass Amp Head:

This head is great! I hadn't seen any reviews on it or videos that were in english describing how well it works! I took a trip to guitar center and played one for myself and well, now i own it. If your looking for something with a great tone for a low price hit this amp up.
It is more than enough to gig with at small to medium size venues and if your playing large more than likely you will use the DI on the amp.
Im playing through the Markbass 1x15 Travel series Cab with a wireless pack.
