OVERVIEW

Markbass' top-selling bass preamp and a quality B&C woofer combine for exceptional power and pop.

The Markbass CMD 121H is a bass combo amplifier that delivers incredible, professional-quality sound in a compact, easy-to-manage package. Less than 2' wide or tall, and under 40 pounds, the CMD 121H provides an amazingly large amount of power with its 12" B&C woofer with a 1" compression driver with custom horn. This is due in part to the excellent design of the speaker, and the way the cabinet was built to protect the integrity of your sound.

But the CMD121H amps's sound is also increased by the built-in presence of the Little Mark II solid state preamp. It gives you a 4-band EQ, Markbass' own VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) and VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter) filters, and the ability to hook up to an extension cab for even more room-filling sound.

Comments about Markbass CMD 121H 300/500W 1x12 Bass Combo Amp:

I use this product live in a number of projects. I play mainly a '77 Precision with EMG's, an '84 MusicMan Stingray 5, a 2001 Pedula PentaBuzz 5 String Fretless and an Englehardt Swingmaster Upright with a K&K Basmsaster Pro Pickup. This amp is the real deal. It is extremely musical and articulate. I go from heavy tones using a Tech 21 Red Ripper to delicate upright work in the same set and this amp absolutely nails it. It is an excellent upright amp but never misses a beat when called on to deliver the heavy stuff. It easily carries in a medium room with a full band without live sound support. I've been playing for 30+ years and play multiple times a week and this amp really delivers.

I'm amazed what this amp can do at home in the studio or on the road! Such flexibility. So easy to carry with one hand for blocks in NYC. You will never hear anything like this amp. Price didn't matter with 36 months to pay. Thank you again for great customer service.

Comments about Markbass CMD 121H 300/500W 1x12 Bass Combo Amp:

I bought this for my son to use with his band. He used it at a summer festival gig. It was not a huge venue but it was outdoors. This amp was perfect. It has more than enough volume to hear through guitars & drums. He probably had it set at only about 40% on the master for that gig. It's plenty loud, as needed. The tone quality was outstanding. There's a wide range of variations you can play around with. Also, at about 40 pounds, it's about half the weight of other bass amps with similar power. Seriously, those things can weigh 70 to 80 pounds. And that's no small consideration. All-in-all, I'd say if you can possibly afford it, buy a Markbass and you'll be very happy with it.

This amp is perfect. I can take this to most of my gigs. plenty of beefy low end and all the volume you need, if you are running through the house as well. MarkBass is light, easy and loud. Perfection for Bass amps

I went with this amp over the seperate head and cabinet. you get all the features of the little mark 2. But with less stuff to carry around. Great for jamming and practice any style of music.
