A great choice for big-stage applications, and for louder bands, its sound is exceptionally warm and clear, both at low and high volumes. The ultra-fast response of the digital power amp allows the best reproduction of every minute detail in your playing.
The DI output features a pre-post EQ switch and output level control, so you can optimize the bass amp head's signal to the mixer or recording unit. In addition, a bonus XLR balanced input is included for amplifying most double bass microphones or pickups. The Markbass Little Mark 800's small size allows for easy transportation, but its sound is nothing short of professional.
The Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator (VLE) and Variable Preshape Filter (VPF) allow access to a wide array of timbres, from classic tones to modern hi-fi sound. Additional features on this bass amplifier head include four bands of equalization, line out control, and pre-post EQ switch for the XLR line out (on the rear panel).

I play so many genres of music I was using 5 different bass amps. Bluegrass Gospel to Theater to Rock. What a pain to carry. Had always been a Fender Bassman fan. I friend bought a Jeff Berlin and loved it. So I ended up with a Little Mark 800 amp that I combine with different cabinets. Last night I played a Gospel Bluegrass event in a 500 person venue. They didn't have any subs in their inhouse system so I had to play thru my own system. I only had a 12" single cube with me. The soundman was shocked. It filled the whole room. I also use 4x10's cabinet and 1-15" for different types of music. I played a small gig this morning and I carried guitar, amp, cabinet, guitar stand in one trip!! Awesome!!! It's great. The best I've seen. I'm selling my Bassmans!!

I gig several times a month decided to get a light weight amp. This amp has plenty of power for your standard bar gig and sounds great through a 4 OHM cabinet that can handle the output. I like the simplicity of the layout of the amp and getting a decent tone quickly is a piece of cake.

I have had this head for two months now. Steady weekend gigs. It has surpassed all of my expectations. I also own a 2x10 Markbass combo that has been through the wringer without a hitch. The main reason I bought the LM 800 was my experience with the combo.
