Comments about Markbass Markacoustic AC101 Acoustic Combo Amp:
Acoustic amp ? Bass amp ? Vocal amp ? Its everything ..
I play acoustic guitar and sing and I also play Bass for a classic rock and modern country band.
I sold my Peavey Pa system as its no longer needed ..
This amp covers the Pa and sounds better ..
I have had every Bass amp brand name, make and model within the past 30 years …
I have been playing the 212 GK light combo but once I tried this single 10, I was floored ..
I bought the extension cab now also.. I have been using it to play Med Large gigs and playing
an active 4 string bass through it .. I can more than keep up and my volume buttons never go
over ½ mark … The 10 inch speakers have massive bottom but im used to larger speakers and
It seems to me that they are too tight and snappy for me.. I also am not used to the rear porting
with these cabs .. My sound sometimes seems almost feedback like and my drummer gets the
Low low bass pushed into his face and it rattles his snare something awful .. Due to the weight
I think im going to keep them and experiment with tone and volume a bit and see if I can learn a happy
Medium setting .. Wish they were ported out front ..
Over all .. Very pricy but you wont find anything out there in this size and weight that can
Produce this volume and low end … I give them a B- so far ..
