The Momark includes 3 user-exchangeable modules, much like hard drives in a computer. You decide which options and features you have, and you change them yourself at will. The Markbass Momark Bass Amp Frame offers a compact combination of top sound quality and high power at very light weight.

Comments about Markbass MoMark 800W Digital Bass Amp/Frame:
I used to own a TA503 which I loved plugged to Avatar 210 + 212. But as a hard rocker, the TA503 slightly lacked power, cause I like to rock the house and I compete with a loud drummer, two guitarist and a keyboard. The TA503 was perfect for Church and small clubs, but it could just be pushed so hard. At some point I plugged my Avatar 210 + 212 on my Bassman 300 Pro all tube, and I realized my cab could handle much more power. But I loved to go through my Markbass when I used my Jazz Bass. I switch TA503 and made myself a (TD800) MoMark 800W + T1M Tube Pre, EQ42 and MVVL. WOW, It is as powerful as my tube head, it has more bottom then the TA503 and is slightly more analytic, which is not a bad thing at high volume, cause the TA503 was loosing definition when pushed too hard. I was attracted by the Little Mark Tube 800, but the Momark frame has two speakon connectors and a real mute switch on the T1M pre. I didn't find the push/pull volume/mute switch very convenient. I also liked the EQ of the TA503, and it's important to be able to tweak the mids when necessary. I use a TEch21 VTBass in front of it as I did with my TA503 to get the tone and grits I like, but I use it almost flat as well just a bit extra bass. The bass knob has much more radical effect then the Markbass 500W. It's hard to see the difference between the 500W and 800W on store, but when you practice or gig with it, it makes a lots of difference. Those saying the 800W is not more powerful then the 500W have lost their hearing. The difference is VERY significant and the 800W can project a much bigger and more defined bottom, while keeping the clarity and signature tone of Markbass amps.I thought MoMark was a gimmick, but at the end, I'm turned on by the capability to switch preamp and EQ if needed. It will go out often. When is the little rocker preamp coming out in Momark module?
