I bought this cab froma friend almost a year ago and I love it. No I do not play the avt head through it, I run a marshall dsl50 through it and it sounds awesome. I play a lot of old rock(which is best) and it sounds superb. very tight and punchy, overall a very good buy for the money.
I have had this cabinet for a while now and run a Marshall VS100 head through it. It sounds great with excellent bass response. I would have given it five stars except I bought a used Behringer BG412 cabinet to go with it and the Behringer sounds better.I am just a little shocked that I have a Marshall cabinet when I bought it and it is being out performed by a cabinet that I bought used. The Marshall sounds great the way you would expect it to but the Behringer is louder and clearer and it really surprised me as I was not expecting that at all.
I got this cab about 6months ago and it still ROCKS! I plan on getting another one (AVT412XA) to finsh my stack. I have a Randall Titin300w head thats pushing this thing! If you want to start a Marshall stack but don't have the cash this is a good way to go!
