Really great tone with a strat or LP. Beautiful to look at, too. Great for collectors. Glad I grabbed one before they were gone.

Comments about Marshall JTM1 50th Anniversary '60s Era 1W Guitar Combo Amp:
Love this amp. I've been collecting low watt TUBE amps for a while and this as become my favourite. There as been a lot of great developments in digital sound but I find they still don't match real tube amps. 1 watt is perfect for that home environment playing and I'm surprised at the 0.1 watt setting, very quiet yet keeps the marshall tube vibe going. Very simple to use with limited features but has that great 60s Marshall sound. Besides I would rather have 1 good sound out of an amp then multiple bad tones. But Marshall should have advertised it as a "Bluesbreaker" amp caus' thats what it is. Plug in a Gibson LP (personally I prefer a 335) on both Pups, neck volume down to 8 and push the amp and you got the Eric Clapton's Beano album sound, just Amazing! Because It's a combo (easy to lug around), sounds great and it's house friendly loudness it's the amp that get's the most use in my house.
Only complaint, the price. I know Marshall thinks anniversary models will be worth billions one day but COMME ON. I hope they start making these in non anniversary models to get the price down. If cash is an issue BlackStar makes a 1 watt amp that's reasonably priced that I'd try first.

Comments about Marshall JTM1 50th Anniversary '60s Era 1W Guitar Combo Amp:
As a stay-at-home musician, this is the perfect amp. Loud enough to play solo but won't blow the doors off the house and neighbors. Perfect for practice and portable enough to jam with friends.
Simple to use and chalk-full of 60's Marshall tone, that classic Marshall "creamy" sound reminiscent of Hendrix, Cream, etc.
Sounds amazing with both my LP Traditional and the ES-339.

Comments about Marshall JTM1 50th Anniversary '60s Era 1W Guitar Combo Amp:
I won't claim this to be the best amp ever, but in my limited experience with low wattage tube amps it is the best i've played. I currently own a Victoria, a Z, a Boogie, and an Egnater and this gets the most play. Wonderfully fun! I have not been this excited to play my guitar in my home for a long time. Love the .1watt feature. This is my first Marshall and am very happy. So cool and makes practicing fun. Really fun!
