Amazing all valve tone at a great price.
The Marshall JVM Series JVM210HCF 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head is one of the most comprehensive all-valve amplifiers on the market today.
For the player who wants superior quality for the price, Marshall has perfected this balance to a science. The amp head's 2 channels offer uniquely defined sonic accents as well as effects loop options and MIDI control, which allows you to control a switch setting in a preset to come back to. The clean/crunch channel moves from crystal clarity to a forceful crunch for heavy blues and rock applications. This guitar amplifier head does not overwhelm you with technical mechanics. The sound is all Marshall: a powerhouse of heavy 6-string shredding.
Multiple, all-valve accents provide an amazing array of tones which are accessible from the front-panel switches, MIDI or via the revolutionary technology of the supplied footswitch. A breakthrough in amplification, the Marshall JVM series offers a powerstage built on the peerless EL34 designs responsible for the legendary Marshall roar. The JVM2 series delivers sophisticated functionality in a refined format.

Comments about Marshall JVM Series JVM210HCF 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:
I really wasn't wanting a powerhouse El34 100watt deal; but I bought this amp at a great price! I have been consistenely amazed by it ever since I've got it. It does everything I want and much more. It's simpler to navigate than its big brother which is a plus. Abother great thing about Marshall, is that it has a lot of after-market part options. You can customize this thing as much as you want.
If you get this amp, get a cab with some Vintage 30s. I have a Marshall 1960 cab loaded with the Vintage 30s and it sounds great. Don't be afraid to pair other amps with it either. It really does a good job.
This amp isn't as versatile as it bigger brother, but it doesn't need to be. In fact, that's why I bought it. If you want two great channels with more options than you'll probably use anyway, than you'll want this amp.
When I was looking for a new amp, I compared this side to side with some Mesa stuff, and this amp was so much more versatile. I play it with a Vox Ac30 and I couldn't be happier with my tone.
I've only had to replace the power tubes. That was after 2 years of consistent playing. However, it does use a circuit board which automatically knocks it down a few points.
I think it's priced about right considering all it offers.
