Enough punch to bloody a few noses.

The Marshall MBC410 Bass Guitar Extension Cabinet, has a 600W RMS rating, and 4X10" speakers. It's a superb, colossal-sounding bass cabinet, ideal for use with Marshall bass amp heads and combos.

The Marshall MBC410 is loaded with four 10" speakers that deliver clear, low-end tones throughout the club. It also has an HF horn and is sturdily built, ready for life on the road. Marshall listened to bass players' requirements, and made the decision to give you options of the most favored and asked-after extension cabinets to complement your bass head or combo.

This extension cabinet can be used with the Marshall MB450H amp head as well as the range of Marshall MB bass combos and is finished in Marshall black textured vinyl with a black speaker grill.

I bought this cab along with the mb450h to replace the amp I was using. I had a 100 watt combo amp before this and needed to upgrade because I couldnt compete with my guitarists or drummer. I used to have my old amp turned up to 10 and was worried about blowing the speakers, but I havent gone past a 3 with this new setup so ill never have to worry about that. I was getting a weird buzz when I first hooked everything up, but that turned out to be my instrument cable. That went away once I bought a new one. I also replaced the speaker cables that came with the head with some monsters. Great set-up. The only other thing I plan to do is pick up the mbc115 to finish off the stack. Buy this!

Pretty standard 4x10 Ported at the front, big enough for rodents to enter!  Has a nice punchy sound and is happy to cover all of the sounds the marshall head can throw at it. the tolex looks a bit thin, but no damage to it yet. Has noce locating dimples for cabinet stacking, and for the amp also. Speakon inputs are great. The Horn can be turned on an off, but no attenuation. Would be nice if it came with castors, I fitted a set with in 2 days of owning it. Generally seems pretty robust. And has no issues shaking the house. The Marshall Logo on the front looks pretty fragile, as its mounted off the grille and could easly catch while transporting, but doesnt buzz. All Hail Rahnu !!

Please bear in mind that I am reviewing this Marshall MBC410 cab matched to the 450h hybrid head.  This cab rox! Deep and bassy when you want it, punchy and bright when it it needs to be.   I play an active 5 string and this cab handles the low B with ease and not an ounce of flab! To note however, this cab is heavy and akward to move.   It is constructed of MDF so drilling casters onto the bottom is not recommended.

A huge wall of sound!

I am reviewing this mbc410 cab onthe understanding that I have used it with the matching MB450h head. With 600w rms and 1200W peak power,  this 4 ohm cab is capable of producing an amazing wall of sound.  As an owner of a active 5 string bass, this will nicely pump out the low notes without soundling flabby or "out of control."  The switchable HF horn is a nice touch for those who don't want to use it, but why???   Players who play slap style will love the tightness of the full bottom sound, and the clarity of the highs. Regaring construction and such, this beast is VERY HEAVY. At just under 94lbs, even though it does have well placed recessed handles, it is awkward.  I built a separate dolly to transport it around.   As it is made of 3/4" MDF and not particle core or plywood, I would STRONGLY suggest: do not drill castors into this cabinet!!  MDF is strong and great for speaker enclosures, but does not take well to screws that will take a beating. Overall, I would definately recommend this cab (especially if you picked up the Marsall 450h head).  Loads of power, switchable horn, and speakon and 1/4" inputs.
