About Marshall MG Series Amplifiers

Previous Marshall MG Amp Models

Marshall MG30DFX 30W 1x10 Guitar Combo Amp (Discontinued)

This little beast can really scream. The Marshall MG30DFX 30W 1x10" Guitar Combo Amp is loaded with 30 Watts of power and a custom-voiced 10" speaker, giving it all the girth and grind of its bigger brothers in a compact, rugged package. Footswitchable clean and overdrive channels (with optional footswitch) and independent tone controls add to its already impressive features. The MG30DFX amplifier has built-in digital FX that include reverb, delay, chorus, and flange. Marshall FDD (Frequency Dependent Damping) mimics the way a tube amp interacts with the speaker that adds width and depth to the sound. An emulated Line Out/Headphone Out lets you connect the MG30DFX directly to a multitrack recording machine and get a great speaker-emulated guitar sound direct to disk or tape.

Marshall MG10CD Combo Amp (Discontinued)

The biggest little practice amp in the world. The sturdy, compact Marshall MG10CD Combo Amp boasts 2 channels, a custom-voiced 6-1/2" speaker, and 10W of Marshallized power. The clean channel gives you shimmering pristine tones, and when cranked produces a musical crunch perfect for the blues. The overdrive channel kicks in a bunch of the distortion that has made the Marshall name. Emulated headphone output gives you great tone and mutes the speaker. Includes CD input. The Marshall MG10CD Combo Amp is a great amplifier for the studio, too.

Marshall MG15MSII Micro Stack (Discontinued)

Big Marshall stack tone in a compact package. Its 15W head and 2 - 10" speaker cabinets create a stack that is only 15"W x 37"H x 9"D, but the Marshall MG15MSII Micro Stack puts out a tone that's far from miniature. The head has all the standard MG features: control for clean volume; overdrive gain and volume; reverb level; and 3-way EQ with bass, treble, and a contour that lets you fine-tune the mids. It also boasts a CD input, an emulated line out, and a headphone jack that mutes the speakers.

Marshall MG100DFX Combo (Discontinued)

Drawing on the vast experience of their design team, the Marshall MG100DFX Combo amps are built to the same exacting standards as all Marshall products. The MG100DFX is a 2-channel amp with special features such as FDD (Frequency Dependent Dampening), CD ins, plus emulated line out, and emulated headphone jacks. It features digital effects including reverb, delay, chorus, and flange. With 100W and a 12" custom speaker, this is a fully gig-capable amp, and it retains all the features that make it great for practice, too. Includes footswitch.

Marshall MG50DFX Combo Amp (Discontinued)

The Marshall MG15CD 15 Watt Combo gives you Marshall quality in a small package. No-nonsense, compact combo with 2 channels, a custom-voiced 8" speaker and 15W of screaming Marshall tone. The clean and overdrive channels share a 3-band EQ with bass, contour, and treble controls for plenty of tweakability. The clean channel produces shimmering clarity, but when cranked, it produces a highly musical crunch. Flip to the overdrive channel for bucketsful of the desirable distortion that made the Marshall name. The contour control lets you radically reshape the midrange for everything from traditional tone to scooped and modern sounds. Emulated line outs for recording plus an emulated headphone output that mutes the speaker and produces huge tone for silent practice.
