This cab gets a lot of flak from Marshall Fanboys/girls, but in reality it's a great cabinet, especially when you factor in the affordable price.
I purchased mine a few weeks ago, and it sounded great at band practices, but I reserved my verdict for after I put it to the test at a live gig.
Verdict: I was not disappointed.
I played it last night at a medium-sized venue. I was running my Peavy Valveking 100 watt tube head through it along with my 2004 Gibson SG Special, and it sounded amazing. Blended well with my lead guitarist's amp and I was able to crank my head up and the MG412a still maintained a great tone.
You can't go wrong with this cab if you're on a budget.
