Compact, powerful, and loaded with great tone.
Using similar technology to its 100W big brother the TSL100, the Marshall TSL601 offers as much flexibility as its illustrious brethren. The TSL601 Combo uses 2 EL34 power valves for that classic pure Marshall valve tone which has become the cornerstone of rock music making. The TSL is crisp on clean, biting blues, and monstrous for metal. Those familiar with the traditional Marshall clean tone will be shocked by how clean the TSL will actually get. Its new custom-voiced Wolverine 12" speaker was designed by the Marshall R&D department in conjunction with Celestion specifically for this combo.
- 3 independent channels each with volume and gain controls
- Independent EQ on the Clean channel
- Shared EQ on the Crunch/Lead channels

- Individual reverb levels for Clean and Overdrive channels - on/off footswitchable.
- Footswitchable Accutronics spring reverb with dual controls (one for Clean, one for Crunch/Lead)
- Footswitchable parallel effects loop with level selection and front panel Mix control
- Speaker emulation for direct recording, connection to an external amp or to a PA system
- XLR DI output
- Deep switch adding low-end resonance

This amp is crisp on clean, biting for blues, and very monstrous for metal; a very very superb all rounder.

Nice amp to practice with or play live gigs. This amp can go from clean to down right out of control if you choose to do so. The crunch channel is the best for rock'n blues.
awesome amp if you want to play rock. also a very versatile amp. stomp boxes don't give you the same growl this amp gives. great match for a fender amp.definitely worth the price.
This is an awesome amp. Sounds better than the tsl122 or 100, smoother distortion.
Has the best Gain, but Clean channel could be better.
The tone of the amp is great, I've used a 67 Gretsch, Heritage VIP, and a Wolfgang. They all sound good. The footswitch is worthless, Ive had two in two years. If footswitching is not importaint to you this is a great amp. If it is dont buy this amp.
This amp really rocks and it's so versatile! You can set all the knobs in your custom style and the resoult is awesome. You just need some time to get your perfect tone from it. The footswith is really cool and it's awesome for gigs. I use it with my strat with an invader humbucker: the clean channel is clear, the crunch is dirty but really smooth and the lead really screams. It costs a lot of money, but if you have it it worths every penny..get it!
I have owned this amp for 3 years and it has held up nicely to weekend gigs. Features are great with 3 channels. Many great comments on the tone of this amp. For larger shows, throw a mic on it and let it sing.
My friend just bought this amp and it wails...Perfect for recording and if you wanted to use it for a show just borrow your friends cab and hook it up to the jack in back. This thing is capable of the tones you only thought possible in dreams. Wish there were seperate eq's for both the crunch and lead channels and the reverb is so-so, but other than that this machine is amazing.
