Build your own tube preamp pedal!

The Persuader effects pedal kit is a 12AX7 tube-driven preamp that you build yourself! Go from clean, warm tone to smooth, real tube overdrive!

The Persuader Tube Drive kit includes a pre-drilled, die-cast aluminum enclosure and all necessary parts with easy-to-follow instructions. All you need is a soldering iron and solder! Operates on 9V battery or optional AC adapter.

Note:
When completed, the Persuader draws considerable current, therefore battery life will be short. AC adapter is recommended.

The Persuader DIY Kit

This isn't difficult, and the instructions are very clear. The drawings that are available on the net are the best, and saved me from two dumb mistakes. The overdrive works well, and it goes nicely with all the other modded Boss pedals and the BYOC 5 knob compressor on my board.
Tube to overdrive (like a preamp in a box) and it works if you try different tubes to get your tone!
Everything was intact, all parts there. This is a point-to-point project, no printed circuit board to work with.
Worth the money.

I bought this and put it together in about 4 hours, it sounds great, it really has that warm tube sound with a tube distortion. The instructions were easy to read and follow.I have since tried different 12AX7's in it, it comes with a Chinese tube but I put a JJ.
