OVERVIEW

A compact pedal that replicates beautiful acoustic tones with three different modes.

The Mooer Acoustikar Acoustic Guitar Simulator transforms your electric guitar into a beautifully simulated realistic acoustic sound. It features 3 modes: Piezo, Standard and Jumbo. The Piezo mode simulates the piezo pickup from an acoustic-electric guitar. Standard mode simulates a normal acoustic guitar. Jumbo mode gives you more low end and resonance by simuating a large bodied acoustic. Its full metal casing makes it durable and road ready and like most great effects pedals it has true bypass.

FEATURES
  • 3 Working Modes: Piezo/Standard/Jumbo
  • Full metal shell
  • Pedalboard friendly
  • True bypass

Comments about Mooer Acoustikar Acoustic Guitar Simulator Effects Pedal:

I have a full assortment of effects and sound enhancers in my arsenal, but I was lacking the ability to avoid switching out guitars for that true crystal clear sound that only an acoustic can give you. Although nothing that I've found so far can fully replace the sound on a true acoustic, this little pedal is as close as I've found anywhere and, when used in conjunction with my chorus, even emulates a beautiful vibrant twelve string! This small compact pedal fit very nicely within my already packed board environment and was the finishing touch on my pedal board!

Comments about Mooer Acoustikar Acoustic Guitar Simulator Effects Pedal:

This thing's strong points are that with single coil pickups you can catch a pretty good variety of acoustic guitar sounds. With humbucking pickups it doesn't really acomplish a very good acoustic sound, but you can use it to really clean up your tone, and I mean a LOT! It's well built, and it's small enough to squeeze onto an already crowded pedal board. I like it a lot better than the Boss pedal, and it has true bypass as well!

Comments about Mooer Acoustikar Acoustic Guitar Simulator Effects Pedal:

This little stomp-box-ette acoustic sim sounds better than others I've used (the stand-alone 4-knob BOSS, the one in an ME-25 MultiFX, ZOOM G707, etc), and it's pretty easy to squeeze in somewhere on your pedalboard. Now you don't have to bring an acoustic to shows (and have to either have a separate amp, or re-EQ your clean channel...back and forth). That's convenient--as is the ability to switch back and forth at will (*click*). I think it sounds best on 'Jumbo' with single coils, and "Standard' with hb's; the 'peizo' setting sounds kind of cheesy and thin to me. I don't know what I might ever use it for.
This pedal likes to be at the beginning of your effects, by the way (with your fuzz and envelope filter); downwind of a bunch of pedals it seems to get less and less 'lifelike'. It definitely sounds unobtrusively legit; if you weren't looking you'd have no reason not to believe you were listening to a decent-sounding 'acoustic' (but then, aren't they ~all~? 'Acoustic'; not 'decent' lol) guitar.
And it's way less expensive than that crummy one we've all tried before....

Comments about Mooer Acoustikar Acoustic Guitar Simulator Effects Pedal:

Excellent, crisp, electric-acoustic sounds. Only drawback: had to purchase a power adapter separately, which boosted the overall cost for this effect box. Have had it too short a time to see how long it will stand up.
