Comments about Mooer Eleclady Classic Analog Flanger Guitar Effects Pedal:

When it came time to replace my 30-year-old Boss Analog Flanger, I immediately pounced on the TC 'Vortex' pedal; TC had always been reliable. Not in this case, the Vortex seemed very good at RIng Modulator type effects, not so good at Flanger type effects, despite endless twiddling. SO: I Mooved on to the Mooer.

Now you're talking! This pedal has wonderful sound. It does everything the TC and the Boss can do, plus all the great traditional sounds we associate with flangers: jet whooshing, strong chorusing, metallic tin can tones, and lots more. The Color and Range dials could be larger, but I understand Mooer, (like Xotic and others) is trying to make their pedal as small as possible, and it is about as small as they come. Yet, it is very well-built, and I think it will be in use for a long time. Far better and stronger than more expensive pedals. Get it.

Comments about Mooer Eleclady Classic Analog Flanger Guitar Effects Pedal:

I bought this pedal for use with bass guitar. I was pleasently surprised at how responsive and noticeable the effect is. Even low settings are useable and come out in the mix. It matches all the toneprints for the TC electronic flanger. I highly reccomend this to bass players looking for a fun filter. Only con is the intense squeel you get from maxing out the level control. It's kind of fun to do to annoy my bandmates though.

            • Pedal Board Before Dirt

Comments about Mooer Eleclady Classic Analog Flanger Guitar Effects Pedal:

I have an old ElectroHarmonix Electric Mistress Deluxe. I love the particular character of the EM flange. But it's big and noisy and a tone sucker. I have other flangers, the best of the rest a Boss BF-3, but it's a bit too dramatic (wish it had a mix control). I still use it (before dirt) for mimicking Frank Marino's old Eventide (it comes pretty close). But what about the Gilmour flanger effect? Or Trower's latter '70s flanger effect? You need an Electric Mistress to capture those sounds. The Mooer ElecLady comes as close as anything else to nailing the classic EM Deluxe effect, but in a compact size and without the noise - and with true bypass to boot! I A/B'ed the EM with the EL and you really can't tell the difference in the character of the flange effects. It's best run before the dirt (no volume drop then). I highly recommend this pedal. My EM Deluxe is now ready for my museum.

Comments about Mooer Eleclady Classic Analog Flanger Guitar Effects Pedal:

I've had this Mooer pedal for almost a year. The quality of the pedal is great. It takes up little space on a pedalboard, and it's not a cheap, made out of plastic stompbox. The ElecLady is one of my favorite flangers out on the market right now. Super affordable. I have an entire Mooer pedalboard. I love them!
