Head-spinning, 3D sound.

The PRO-145 from Motion Sound is a complete rotary speaker system for classic organ and keyboard organ samples. It features 200W of bi-amped power, 70W for horn, 130W for the low rotor. The pre amp features a 12AX7 tube with adjustable bias and mode controls.

Have a great portable organ? Add a real rotary horn amplifier to complete your package and experience the incredible 3-dimensional sound distribution that only real mechanical rotors can provide!

Portable Rotary amplifiers are organ specific. The PRO-145 is the pro choice for portable organs. It features a 12AX7 multimode tube preamp with 2 - 1/4" inputs, a real rotary horn and real rotary drum.
A real rotary horn, real rotary drum, and an 800Hz crossover provide the different ramp times and sonic interplay so essential to the classic rotary sound.

The faster ramp time of the horn vs. the slower ramp time of the low rotor has defined the organ/rotary sound and provided hundreds of songs where this effect is dominant and profound. 2 examples that stand out are Booker "T"'s "Time is Tight" and Procol Harem's "Whiter Shade of Pale." The PRO-145 provides this classic sound and more!

Perfect portable rotary speaker

Comments about Motion Sound PRO-145:

I started off with Motion Sound amps by purchasing a KBR-3d a few years back. It was a great system but I wanted a dual rotor system like a leslie. I sold it and bought a Pro-145 and loved it. I use it with my XK3-c Proline system. I also own a Leslie 3300. The Leslie has never left my apartment as it's too bulky/heavy for my wife and I to lug up down the two set of stairs. The Pro-145 weighs about half as much and I just pick it up and carry it. It fills the smaller venues like American Legion and VFW Clubs. When plugged into a quality pa system it is awesome. You can't do that with the Leslie 3300 as it has no XLR outputs.

Comments about Motion Sound PRO-145:

I bought this amp about a year ago and now I never go to a gig without it. I play a lot of organ and left hand bass (like Neal Evans of Soulive) with an XK-3 and a korg triton (just for bass). I mostly use a seperate bass amp, but on occassion and for rehersals I just use the Pro-145. The bass isn't great, you're not gonna fill even a small venue unless its a mellower jazz gig, but honestly, I wouldn't worry about it if you've got a bass player. And if you really need more bass, adding a sub does wonders. I have a bag-end 1X15 that really kicks the bass up a notch. This one doesn't sound quite as nice as the hammond version, but its pretty damn close and is waaaay better than a simulated leslie. I can't stand using the onboard leslie simulation on my organ anymore. I own a subaru impreza and I can easily fit this in the back along with three boards and a bass amp. I haven't looked inside yet but I've read about it being cheaply made. I've beat this thing up more than I care to admit and I've rarely had any problems with its reliability. The one thing I would be weary of is that it can be a bit moody. Some days it'll sound better than others, I haven't figured out what thats about yet.It sounds awesome with a guitar too.

Comments about Motion Sound PRO-145:

I studied the Motion Sound and the Leslie system 21 for quite a while and went for the MS pro 145. I'm glad I did. The sound and quality of this unit is stunning.I'm currently using two 145s (stero of course) then summed into a MotionSound SW15 sub cabnet for the BOOM. The differing ramp times along with varying speeds achived between the two 145s is nothing short of Three Dimentional. it will take a little work to set up the two 145s so that the speeds and ramp times don't sound muddy or over powering not to mention a little pedal practice as well. I totally realize that this is a little expensive but the sound in a theater size room and real spinning upper horns AND lower drums (doppler sound) of the Pro145 will hook you too. The layout is easy to access and the truckliner outer treatment is road worthy. No warranty or repair work yet to report but I'll let you know if that bacomes an issue...Buy one (or two) you won't be sorry.
